Biography: A generally happy-go-lucky type of girl, Chiharu loves to play and laugh. With her bright pink hair and sparkling pink eyes, she's just a bundle of joy. She also loves sweets, and personality wise, is a bit like Yachiru. Even during battle, she darts from place to place like a little pixie, crushing opponents with her huge hammer-like zanpaktou, still smiling her sweet little smile. She is part of the group that was with Akashi and being the youngest, everyone considers her the baby, much to her dismay. She sometimes throws silent tantrums, pouting in corners, when things don't go her way. She can also be pretty bossy and temperamental, belying her small frame. Like with the rest of group, she shares the noble Maniagoto name that Hotaru later receives.

Zanpaktou: Komainu (Stone Lion-Dog - Ruling Element: Gold/Metal)

Guardian Animal: Lion (or Lion-Dog --proper name would be a Foo Dog --maybe like this or this, with a curling mane and fluffy tail. When drawing, you can make it a little bit less scary and more cuter!)

Description: Chiharu has pink curly hair that is most times tied up into pig-tails with cute little ribbons. The ribbons are usually either orange or a dark pink or red, in accordance to her color. Her eyes are a darker pink. She wears a cute orange kimono with cut-off bell-sleeves with designs on them. On one of her exposed arms/shoulders, an orange tattoo of a phoenix can be seen. An orange sash would go around her middle, a more darker color than whatever outfit she is wearing on top. On her feet, she wears orange sandals with white socks and leg-warmers. She wears a little ribbon choker with a bell around her neck. On her hands, she wears orange, finger-less boxing gloves. As with the rest of the Guard, she has an orange phoenix tattoo on one arm. Her zanpaktou's a normal looking length with metallic spikes on the hilt but when transformed, turns into a huge spiky, metallic, double-sided hammer, sort of like a mythril hammer, and its size contrasts hugely to her body, which is quite petite (it does NOT look like some kind of toy hammer even though its cuter that way...its a WEAPON!). Her zanpaktou's release call is: "Smash the earth, Komainu!"

Chiharu's kimono would look a bit like this, with maybe some kind of leafy or flowery design (or autumn leaves) of a darker orange on it. It doesn't necessarily have to be fluffy: this was the only kimono I could think of that would fit. Also, the hair ribbons would be more orange or yellow, the better to show up in her hair. And I like the sandals and legwarmers here...C:

Just another ref, with a different ribbon which is kind of cute. However, its the sleeves that I want to point out, which are the bell-like shape that I want. However, I want them more separated, cut-off from the rest of the outfit, like arm-warmers. Also, the choker around her neck is a little added bit of cuteness. And all of this would be in the color orange, not the red/pinkness it is in the ref.

Hammer
Big hammer, little girl: the best way to describe Chiharu. The hammer is made of metal, not wood or stone, sort of like a mythril hammer, all silver and orangey-gold. And of course, its covered with spikes.

Another hammer ref. And no, Chiharu's hammer wouldn't emit blue lightning...more orange or gold and not really lightning but more like earthen spikes.

Apparently, people still draw Chiharu's hammer like some toy. Here's ANOTHER ref of a cosplay hammer from an anime convention that I recently went to. Her hammer should look MORE like a weapon, and LESS like a toy. It should be gold and silver with lots of spikes!
