After almost a year has passed, I arise back from the "dead" and am ready to start posting biggrin This wonderful summer I've decided to write reviews on the animes I've been watching and have seen, that includes the movies as well. I warn you sometimes I can ruin shows in 3 secs, so if you're not one for spoilers then I'm sorry, I can't help it. I was born this way.
So my plan is to tell the basic plot (depending on my understanding of it, it may or may not be from Wikipedia ^^*), who directed it and all that glory, and then finally my opinion of it. Sound fun? If not lolwell. razz
I would like to start with the movie I just saw today called Paprika. It was directed by Satoshi Kon (R.I.P), animated by Madhouse, produced by Sony Pictures Entertainment and the film score ( heart ) was composed by Susumu Hirasawa. The basic plot of this story is that this story takes place sometime in the near future, and in this future a group of psychologists have in their hands a prototype called the DC mini which allows them to analyze their patients through their dreams. These psychologists names are Dr. Atsuko Chiba, Dr. Kosaku Tokita, and Dr. Torataro Shima. After this bit of information is learned, we find out from Dr. Tokita that one of the prototypes has been stolen. And the movie goes on from there as they try to figure out whodunit while things get pretty wacky.
Ok let me be Randy Jackson for a sec. Dawg, that movie was off the hook dawg! No seriously if it was on American Idol, they'd be init to winit. I love how they just grab you in the beginning. It starts at in a circus, I mean I don't know about y'all but that's enough said to get me interested. Anyway, as the movie progresses on it's like you do but you don't know what's happening. I wanna say that that should be expected since they're dealing with dreams. With that said, you just have to know that it's going to be effed up but not in the bad way. And the music for this movie is... I can't find words for it. I love it, that's way there's a heart up there. I am very addicted to the title song, I don't think I'll ever get tired of it. Oh and if you were wondering this entire time why it's called Paprika, it's because that's the name of a very special/main character. But that's all I'm going to say about it for those who don't like spoilers.
The end, sorry it's so long. Next time it'll be shorter. I promise 3nodding Thanks for reading!

Escape, escape, from this sorrowful fate. You are not a flower of Naraku. In that kind of place, don't bloom there, don't bloom there. Don't let them ensnare you.
