Eris/Adrian Chapter One
Chapter One

Nails down his back, sweat making their bodies shine in the candlelight, bodies intertwining themselves around each other under the sheets, the sound of her breath leaving her lips as a hushed moan. He held her strongly in his right arm, letting his left support his weight as he thrust himself into her time and time again. His chestnut brown hair brushed against her as he kissed her neck in that sweet spot that made her draw her breath sharply, only to release the slightest, most delicious moan from her lips into his ear. He whispered sweet nothings to her as their pleasure intensified.

She couldn't hold on any longer. The once quiet woman gasped loudly as she came to her climax, holding her man as she savored every second of that sweet release she had been craving. Shortly after, he found his own climax, slowing his pace to kiss her and hold her gently, feeling their bodies tremble and throb against each other. He rolled her on top of him, laying on the once beautifully dressed bed. They gazed into each others' eyes for what seemed like eternity before she stumbled to the armoire and pulled out a towel to clean up with.

In all his years of loyal service to his country, he never imagined having such an exciting life as this. It felt like something out of an erotic fairy tale. He had met this wonderful, dark-haired woman while conducting peace talks between his nation, her nation and the demons' nation. They'd had a wonderful night without politics and, ever since that day, he has been infatuated with her.

Looking at the beautiful woman dressing herself without the need of her handmaidens, he was struck by desire once more and he wrapped his arms around her, pulling her back to sit on his lap; the towel falling to the floor. She gave a playful giggle as she spun around to face him. “We must get dressed,” she told him, giggling. “My husband will be back soon and your wife will begin to wonder.”

“My wife wonder?” The King couldn't help but laugh a little. “My wife would have said something if she suspected something!” He kissed her lips, lightly biting as he pulled away.

“Do not underestimate your wife, Majesty. She is not unintelligent.” The raven-haired woman, a Queen in her own right, pulled her body away from him and finished dressing, the King taking that as his cue to dress himself.

The King stood and couldn't help but stare at his reflection in the mirror. He was in good health at the ripe age of thirty-two years. His shoulder-length hair had not yet begun to gray as most of his brothers had at his age, keeping its natural shine and color as brilliant as the day it all grew in. He had strong facial features, but they didn't make him look intimidating as his father always said he would inherit. His eyes were a sea green with a blue undertone and the longest eye lashes his family had seen. Luckily, along with inheriting many good looks, he inherited his family's common height of six foot three inches tall. A fine specimen of a man, if one was into that.

“When do I get to see you again?”

“Probably not for a while, love.” She walked to him and put her soft hand on his face.

“You are only able to be here while on 'peace talks' with the council, my husband, and the demon nation. Last I heard, those talks are coming to an end.”

“Is your husband suspicious?”

“Unfortunately, he has been wondering why I seem to disappear when you are here. I think it's time we bring this to an end.” She turned from him tears welling up in her eyes. She distracted herself by fixing her hair, preventing it from looking like she'd just had sex, however, most times it was a lot easier said than done. “We are married to different people. If my husband and your wife were both to die, I'd be in your Kingdom in a heartbeat, but we simply cannot right now.” She blinked the heavy tears from her eyes. “I'm so sorry to spring this on you all-of-a-sudden.”

“I understand, darling. I will write to you as my friend and I wish you would do the same. No matter what happens, I'll always love you, Margaret.” He kissed her head and dressed himself the rest of the way, tidying his hair as she did. “Just promise me that you'll write to me no matter what.”

She giggled slightly. “Of course, I will, Richard, and I'd love to come for a visit in the winter.”

“I shall have your visit to look forward to. I will keep in touch. I love you.” He kissed her lips one last time before leaving the room. Within the hour he was on his way home, fifty miles away, where his very faithful, ignorant wife was waiting for him.
