Well, I'm back. I got back from Connecticut last night. I WAS going to stay there and get back tonight but Mum and Dad didn't notice that they had such little money in the bank. So we ended up checking out of our motel yesterday morning. So not much of a vacation.... I had a great time the night we got there, don't get me wrong. I'm just kind of mad at the fact I worked really hard to get things ready for what was going to a 3 day trip only to work hard for an over nighter. But we did got the Ocean! We swam! But I, being stupid, thought it was going to be really really cloudy. And when we got there it was. So I didn't put on any sunscreen....Yeah... you know where this is heading. About an hour later the sun came out. Still no sun screen. Now I'm dying just buy sitting in a chair. My shoulders, back, and butt are horribly burnt. I had to sleep on my not-as-burnt-but-still-hurts stomach just to sleep the other night.
Over all, I loved Connecticut. Very pretty and homey place. I would love to go back again. I'll just bring my brain with me next time, haha. Not the vacation I was hoping for but, meh. I liked it. :] Driving home was amazing. Just going down the freeways and going past cities and mountains when the sun is hitting the clouds, with their colors changing from pinks to oranges as it's going down. God I wanted to cry. Beautiful. I want to get out and see the world more now. Screw planes, I'll drive across America. I really need to get out of the house more. Haha. I was going to New York City in about 2 weeks, I think, to see Rachel Ray do one of her shows and have it aired. But That not going to happen for some bull $#!- reason. I'm not a fan of hers at all, but I only wanted to go so I could spend my time with my mom in The City after words. My baby sister, on the other hand, is a big fan of hers. She actually got free tickets from one of the people who worked for Mrs. Ray when she came to visit her old school ( that is indeed near where I live ). She got a cook book from her and signed it for her. I didn't go to see that but, my mom said it was cutest thing ever. My mother was going to take her to The City to watch her, but they told her that she couldn’t because you had to be 16 or older to go. Reason? I don't friggen know. But I'm 16 and can't go for a BS reason. >.<
And now for some Art stuffles. I have One commission I MUST finish soon. Or at least I think I only have one. (Needs to check) >>. After it's finish I'm going to just do random drawings just so I can sharpen my drawing skills. I can't draw compared to many of they people on here T~T. Also I need to write out some stuff for a project I'm going to be working on in the near future. Very excited to do it. But I don't want to do it right away, I want to do it when my art is good and I have my own style. God that might take for ever. But I'm getting a head start now so I can do it later. :] So a lot of crappy doodles and junk is going to posted just for practice...and Lord it's going to be embarrassing. Wish me luck. And sorry for the rant! ^^'
