I am writing a stupid journal so that you people can take a walk in my shoes....
I live in a small communty of Sorrento. Really crapy place of about 2,000 people in the winter and 6,000 in the summer. Sorrento is placed on one of the pretties lakes in B.C. where most people like to invade to go houseboating and other expensive and dumb things. I try to stay away to our only small grocery store as much as posible becuase it is usually swamped with planium blondes and they're conveniently ageing 'sugar daddys' asking for directions to the neares boat launch.
My best friend and I work at a small coffee house on the side of the highway. When tourists come in the door and ask fo cheese burgers and fries, we tell them we don't sell deep fried crud and greesy things. They look at us like we are mental and leave to the nearest MacDonalds (which is 20 min away).
Lexi is briliant, in a study for 24 hour before a test kind of way. She wants to go to school to be a pediatric oncologist. She estimates she will be 32 when she is finally done her schooling program.... Do children need to be cured of their cancer that much?
I plan on going to a culinary program after I graduate in a year. Down in Granville Island in Vancouver. It is apox. 6 months long and I am garentied a job when I finish. I want to be a chef which should be easy enough. If stupid pot head at my school can call themselves a 'chef' then so can I!
I have lately become addicted to the movie Whip It. Its about Bliss Cavender (played by Elen Page) finding herself in the middle of a hot Roller Derby brawl. I got so into the movie that I ended up sending the Roller Derby league in Armstrong (aprox. 40 min drive) a e-mail about maybe joining. I had a pair of kick a** Ridells on my wishlist on E-bay and was trying to convince my dad of giving me his credit card when I got the news. I was to young, needing to be 18 when im only 17! I told them that this is only a small set back that will give me time to find an awsome Derby name and I will see them in a few months.... If anyone apon reading this has any name ideas, they would be apreciated.
