Hmmm.... I think I'll write some poetry.

Ode to the Fallen Mind

They told me the Shadow,
Was bitter and Pale,
With long, bony Fingers,
And dressed in Mail,
Wearing a Cloak,
Of Darkness.

They held up the Light,
Calling it Truth,
Naming it Freedom,
Treating it as Master,
But the Light,
Bowed to the Darkness.

I served the Light,
For so I was Told,
To enter its Service,
Until I grew Old,
But sometime, Somewhere,
I realized,
Who I Am.

I am the Darkness,
Surrounded,
Shrouded,
Silenced.

None know me,
For such knowledge,
Is Fatal.

I live,
That I might Die.

Alone.

As I dwell,
In the recesses,
Of my Mind,
I ponder,
And think,
Conjecture and debate,
Wondering,
Questioning,
Why?

Why I am different?
What makes me,
Me?

I thought the Darkness,
Was responsible,
For my irresponsibility.

I blamed the Shadow,
For my forgetfulness.

At Light's Bane' feet I did lay my sorrows.

But now I realize,
The only one responsible,
Is Me.

I am Wicked,
I am Wierd,
I am Lost,
I am Dead,
I am Fallen,
I am Lead,
Lead down the improbable road,
Of Solitude.

Guided by only my nose,
I have stepped,
Where none may follow,
For none else have gone before.

Perhaps I am crazy,
Perhaps.

But then,
Does it matter?

Long live the Shadow,
The Darkness,
Me,
Long live the One,
Who calls himself Me,
Long live the Chaos,
That lives in the Night,
Long live the Bladesmith,
That marches on Light.
