Christmas was sooooo great!
We woke up early and got our stocking and I got jewlery and perfume and herbs and other stuff too in it and then we went downstairs and opened presents. Here are some of my favorites (not in order):
1. a really pretty yellow robe with dolphins on it that matches my little sister's
2. a princess diaries book
3. a manga calendar
4. a book telling the different kinds of asian cartoons
5. a really pretty shirt and sweater outfit.
6. Pokemon Leaf Green xp
7. Gimore Girls Season 4
8. Marmalade Boy 3rd volume
When we neared the end of our gift opening, I sensed that something was wrong. Mom was looking worried and saying, "wait, isn't there another one for Amy?" At the end my little sister got a toy computer that really played programs (just like she wanted) and my older sister got a digital camera....but I was one present short. They had lost my big present!!
Mom was freaking out, searching everywhere, but my present seemed to have vanished.
I, a bit dejected, half-heartedly tried to tell Mom it was OK, but she adamantly refused.
A bit later the phone rang.
"Great news!" Mom said, "but it doesn't have to do with your present."
"What?" I asked.
It turned out that my uncle that we didn't think was going to spend Christmas with us because he was sort of in a fight with the rest of the family (long story), apologized and was spending Christmas with us after all, just like Grandma wanted!!
A bit later, Mom called me into the living room. She handed me a present. I screamed, realizing that it was the big present!
Slowly, with trembling hands, I opened it.
I screamed again. Really, really loudly. And I screamed again, just for fun. For awhile, all I could do was scream.
"THANK YOU!!!!" I screamed! "THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!!"
I stared down at my brand new video iPod. It was glistening proudly at me. It's screen was pristine, perfectly unscratched. And then it hit me.....(well, that is hit me again)

I OWN A VIDEO iPOD!!!!!!!!!!! AAAAAHHH!!!!!!
