I just got back from a week in Las Vegas last night. It was awesome. I only spent two of the days doing anything touristy, but it was still great. On Tuesday I saw a trapese show at Circus Circus. I also tried some penny slots to see what those were like. I got bored after 5 or 10 minutes and went to find other things to do. Heh. After Circus Circus my bf and I went to Treasure Island to see the Sirens show out front. It was a lot cheesier than the ads for it led us to believe. We also wandered around the Palazzo and Venetian for a little while. On Friday we went to the Bellagio... they have a neat fountain show and the world's largest chocolate fountain! Then we went to Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay. That was my first time ever at an aquarium. It was so neat. After that we went to get some food and then it was off to see Phantom at the Venetian. I was simply entranced. They cut out some stuff (they sliced The Point of No Return right in half!), but it was so well-done besides that. The theatre was amazing... built specifically for Phantom. And the seats we got... for my bf, me, and his mother it was $199. We were only 7 rows back from the stage! I couldn't believe the deal we got! And my bf was excited when he noticed that Steve Tyler was sitting two rows behind us. Hee. The things they did with that play... like when the phantom threatened 'she singeth to bring down the chandelier', he was swinging from it all crazy-like. It was beyond cool. After the show, we watched the 'volcano eruption' in front of the Mirage, walked to the M&M store and then called it a night. It was just such a SHINY time I had. ^_^
