story that don't really have a name
Meggara stood in her empty new room, she had just moved to this small town called Silverton, luckily it's near Portland, and the mall, she'd told herself. Her mother got a job as a café clerk, in this small, off the map town. She opened another box, she dumped it's contents onto her queen bed, “Clothes,” she said as she observed the pile of half folded clothes that laid on the bed. She got out twenty or so hangers and hung the shirts up according to color, and then she hung up her jeans and khakis. “No more clothes, next box.” she picked up the heavy box, it was her Boom Box, she got out a staple gun and stapled the surround sound stereo around her room, and she hooked them up to her Boom Box and put in a mix CD. “Next box,” she sighed.
“Megg! Honey, come here! There are some of our new neighbors here to meet you!” Megg's mom yelled, her name was Cleo. She was a tall women, with long wavy black hair, her eyes showed a dullness because of age, but sparkled with curiosity and knowledge. She had lived a long life, her husband had died a year ago because of terminal cancer, she's had two beautiful daughters, Meggara the youngest. “MEGG, HURRY UP!”
“God, I'm coming!”Meg called back to her mom. She ran down the stairs and into the living room, “I'm here,” she said coldly.
“Now quit your attitude and meet Harris and Lydia, their father and mother are the wealthiest people in this town, they own the falls. Be nice.” Cleo scowled.
Megg rolled her eyes, “Fine. Hello, I and Meggara, and I'm glad to be of your acquaintance, now get out of my life.” she said with a sweet smile. Megg stomped up the stairs and into her room slammed the door.
Megg finished putting her things away, she then jumped on to her bed and found herself yearning to go outside, and see the town, look at the views. She touched her curtains, she saw the two people leaving, if only I was nice to them, I'd have friends at school, she hit her head on the wall in stupidity.

Harris and Lydia showed themselves out. “Well, she's nice,” Harris laughed
“Oh grow up,” Lydia flipped her mid back length, brown, hair. “But I have to admit Harris, she's unusual,”
Harris nudged Lydia lightly with his elbow, “I knew you'd like her! Come on Lydia, don't be like your vain twin.” he laughed again, “Come on I'll race you home!”
“If I win you owe me!” she nodded
“GO!”They raced to a mansion just over the ridge. It was white with large pillars in the front. Harris hit the door just before Lydia had, “Ha, ha, ha. I win.” he said in a plain tone.
“It's only because your slightly faster, damn snakes.” Lydia rolled her eyes. “Come on I feel a disturbance in the force, dad's mad.”
“And how do you know this?” Harris asked then he looked into the sky, “Yep, he's mad.”
The two walked in and bowed their heads as they entered the den, “Where have you two been?!” a large voice boomed from behind a leather chair that faced the fire place; on the wall opposite of the door. “WELL?!”
“We were meeting the people that just moved in. Cleo Arised, she just bought The River Café, and well, it wasn't really a friendly welcome.”
“Oh no, what did you do?” the man in the chair stood and went over to a built-it-bar on the right side of the room. His hair was gray and withered, his eyes an electric blue and white and gray lightning bolts filled them. Little wrinkles traced his face, mouth, and eyes. He looked like he had seen thousands of wars, yet he couldn't have been a day over 45. And this aged, yet young man's name was Zach, a true manly name.
“Nothing father, the youngest, Meggara well didn't really look like she wanted to be here in Silverton, let alone Oregon.” Lydia replied touching her father's shoulder. “I'm sorry if this disappointed you,”
Zach shook his head and laughed, “Your brother, Lysander, is dating her older sister!” he broke out laughing hysterically.
Lydia and Harris looked at each other, and shrugged. Just then two two girls walked in, both around 40 years old, one more chubby, she wore a visor and she had gardening gloves hanging out of her pants. The other looked more sophisticated and she wore white pants with a black, cashmere sweater on. Both of their hair was a light brown, and the room silenced when they walked in.
“God, Demetri, it sounds like a wreck over there, so you say, she threw a knife at him?!” the sophisticated women said.
Demetri nodded whipping a tear away from her face, “It was the funniest thing I ever saw!” she laughed, “He tried to hurt her with a pillow! And then she says, 'HA, you inferior being!' a-and I couldn't stand it!” she laughed some more, “Th-then he wraps her up like sushi in a rug, and threw her into her room and locked the door!”
The sophisticated women laughed and covered her mouth politely, “Well, darling did you hear that? She tried to kill him!”
“Who did what now?” Zach asked confused, “And you look lovely Francesca,” he added kissing her hand and offering her a martini.
Francesca took the alcohol from her husband and sipped, “Alex and Mike,” she said calmly.
Demetri nodded and poured her self a drink. Harris and Lydia hugged their mother, and went out side to see Lysander in his sleek shimmering-blood colored sports car. Lydia rolled her eyes and Harris hugged Lysander and a chubby kid getting out on the other side of the car. The chubby guy was wearing a cheetah print silk shirt and khaki shorts, his hair was a dark brown, he had a diet coke in his hand. He glanced at Lydia devilishly, “Lydia, come here give me a hug!” he forced a hug onto her, “Here you look thirsty, have a sip,” he handed the girl his diet coke.
Lydia took a sip and it spilled all over her, she looked down at the can of soda, it had a hole just on the rim. “You j-”
“Genius!” Harris interrupted her, “You must teach me Dustin!” he put an arm around the prankster.
“In time, my young pupil, in time.” Dustin put his hand on the scrawny boy's back.
“Hello brother,” Lydia looked at her twin, with his equally colored hair, and his equally dark eyes.
“Hello sis,” he looked back at her, “I've met a girl-”
“And her younger sister slammed her door in our faces,” Lydia cut in.
Lysander laughed at this comment, and walked inside, shaking his head. As he entered the den he looked up at the mantle and admired the giant snake head, right next to the stag horns. He touched his mother's shoulder, and kissed her cheek. Francesca looked at him and gave him a hug.
“Come here, I need to talk to you,” she pulled Lysander aside, “I heard that you're dating this new girl... Um, Destiny, was it?” the boy nodded. “Well, all I need to know is that you feel for her, and she's not just getting you on the rebound.” Lysander rolled his eyes.

Meggara put on her jacket and snagged her wallet, cellphone, and two cookies, just in case she got hungry. As she stepped out side she took a bite of one of the cookies. It filled her mouth and nose with chocolaty goodness, the warmth filled her too. It wasn't really a cold day, just a normal, Autumn day. Her red hair flared out behind her, if she wanted, she could blend in with the trees. She felt a breeze push her towards a book shop, then a café, and then it stopped. Then started up again, pushing her towards an oriental shop, she entered, the smell of Jasmin incense burned her nose and she sneezed.
“Hello, are you looking for something today?” said a girl reading a magazine that had a picture of Slipknot on the cover. She had blond hair and at least five piercings on her face, two in her eyebrow, a snake bite (two on the lower lip) and one in her nose. But as she spoke Meggara caught sight of one on her pink tung, and she shivered.
“N-no, I-I'm just looking, I'm new here, just moved in,” she stuttered and she confronted the punk girl, “I-I'm going to go to Silverton High, go S-H go?!” she thrusted her fist half heartedly into the air. “D-do you go there perhaps?” she asked trying to use small talk to avoid awkward silence.
“Ya...” she popped a bubble with her gum.
“OK, oh, I'm such an idiot, I'm Meggara, call me Megg.” she pushed her hand across the table and shook hands with the rocker.
“Name's Tessa,” she looked up as the bell on the door jingled. “Austin!!!!!” she yelled as she threw her arms around his neck.
“Hey Tessa, who's this little mouse?” the buff guy asked, looking Megg up and down. Megg noticed that he was slightly deformed, his left arm wasn't as big as his right.
“Oh, she's the new girl, her name's Megg.” Tessa said watching carefully at what Austin did. He moved toward Meggara and kissed her.
“And that was because you're a cute little mouse.” he said as he moved away from her.
“Uh...” she could only stare at him, she didn't move, “T-thanks, but um, I've got to leave, uh mom wants me home, sorry I'll see at school.” she ran out of the building and she ran across the river that split the town into two halves. She finally got to a small park where she sat down and rested. She stared into the river's clear pure water and thought to her self, oh if only I were a mermaid and I could swim away from this town, but she closed her eyes and shakes her head. She felt some one watching her, and she looks up at the cafés that were right over the river, and there on the side, staring down at her a boy, tall and skinny, he had a sharp nose. Then she realized him, that boy that she slammed the door at. She now felt guilty. He said something to the waitress, she brought him two to go cups and two pieces of paper and a pen. One he gave to her, the other he left on the plate across from him on the table. He walked into the café, another boy, shorter that him, fatter too, wearing a cheetah print shirt came out and sat at the table and read the note, he looked around and shrugged. He then looked behind him, down on the bridge and saw the tall skinny boy and smiled, but then he looked strait at Meggara, she looked away instantly.
“Stalking are we?” said the rich voice of the tall boy, what was his name, oh ya Harris, she thought for a moment.
“No, you're the one that came down here,” she said taking the warm cup that he had given her.
“Ah, but you're the one that was watching me,” he sipped the hot chocolate in his cup, “it's hot Cocoa, by the way,”
“Only after you looked at me, and you're friend is watching us,” she said almost with out moving her lips.
He glanced up and gave a wink, the fat guy gave him a thumbs up, “So Megg, can I call you Megg?”
“Sure,” she shrugged, “I don't care Harris,” she smiled as she sat next to her, and for some reason she was terribly cold and had an urge to cuddle up right next to her stalker.
“Are you going to S-H?” he was answered by a nod, suddenly his stomach tightened and he felt like throwing up. “You look cold, come on, I'll take you home if I'm allowed to have dinner with you and your family.” she nodded again. They stood up at the same time and he put a hand on her back, leading her away from the bench. His hand then moved from her back to her waist, and wrapping around her like a male sign of, “Step off she's my girl.” His eyes stayed looking ahead, as if nothing else interested him.
Dustin followed Harris and the girl who was soon to become Harris', until they entered a house. He watched at they walked stiffly, and awkwardly, towards her house; and how he put his arm around her waist line, making sure not to go to low or to high. Harris was growing up, just like Dustin taught him. After the couple entered the house Dustin turned and went back home. He was tired, his day had been a long one. First he had to “Roll” with Lysander, and watch him ask out a girl or two. Then he had to do his daily pranking, afterwards retiring to the café where he was left alone to watch a love start to spark.

“Oh, Megg you're home, good.” Megg's mom said as Megg came through the door, “Oh and you brought a friend, I'm glad you swallowed your pride and said you were sorry.” She cut up some greens, “We're having special tacos tonight!” she proclaimed.
“Hello Cleo, the food smells really good.” Harris sucked up.
“Stop being a suck up and come to my room, you get to help me put things away.” Megg pulled Harris upstairs and into her room. “Welcome, now all I have to do is put up my collections and I'll be virtually done, that and a few posters, things that hang from my ceiling and-” she was cut off because Harris had reached around her and hugged her close to him. She felt the curves of his body, the way his chest barely stood out of his torso, she felt an urge to turn around and grab him by the neck kissing him, but she thought it too, well, icky. “And what, exactly, are you doing?”
Harris smiled, “Nothing,” he said. He smelled the Aussie shampoo in her hair, he felt his pants become tighter. He looked down and thought, not now, his pants still were tight. “So, Megg, tell me about your self,” he rested his head on her shoulder, closing his eyes to listen to her voice.
Megg slipped out of Harris' grip and sat on her bed looking up at him, “Well, I'm a nerd, and I know it. I've always been the nerd.” she smiled thoughtfully, “I left behind a boyfriend, and a lot of really good friends.” she looked down avoiding his eyes.
“You're lying,” he looked at her, “that Mich dude, wasn't a good boyfriend, and you'd call those whores your friends?!” his eyes were stern.
Megg looked at him, “H-how did you know their names?”
“Uh-Uh, I-I know things.” he looked around her room and changed the subject. “Quaint little room you got.”
“Don't change the subject!” Megg stood up and looked right into his eyes, “WE-”
“MEEEEEEGGG!!!! DINNER!!!!” Cleo yelled up cutting Meg off, this gave Harris a chance to take Megg's hand and pull her down stairs, before anything could get anywhere. “That was fast, well, come on, feed your self.”
Harris' mouth watered at the smell of the taco meat, and his stomach growled at the sight of the melt in your mouth taco shells. “FOOD!!!!!” he made four tacos and ate them just as fast.
“Glad you like them.” Cleo smiled and gave Megg a plate. “If you ever get hungry you can eat at the café no charge. I can tell you'd be a good customer.”
Megg sat at the table and ate her food fast, after which she stood and washed her plate. “Megg dear, will you wash the dishes when Harris goes home?” Meg answered with a nod and took Harris upstairs.
“The food was good,” Harris said to Megg as they both plopped down on her bed. “Megg, I-I need to say something.”
“Shoot,” Megg put her hands behind her head and laid down on her bed, her red hair sprawled out on the pillows.
“Are you always this out spoken? I mean what if it's really bad?” he protested.
“Well if it's bad than oh well, it happens,” she shrugged and put her hands on her stomach, trying to get comfortable.
“Megg,” Harris stood up and looked away.
“Harris?” Meggara said with a sort of care in her voice.
Harris turned around and sat on the bed. Putting a hand on hers he leans down and kisses her. Harris' stomach lurched, and he felt like a weight was lifted from his shoulders. Megg was surprised and opened her eyes for a second, but then she put a hand on his neck, savoring the moment. Finally he pulled back, both wanting to kiss again, but they knew they shouldn't.
“Harris?” Megg looked away, avoiding his eyes.
“Yes Meggara?” He sat up, also avoiding her eyes.
“D-did you do that by accident, or did you mean it?”
“Meant it.”
“Did you like it as much as I did?”
“No... I liked it more.” he sighed and looked at her, putting his hand beside hers.
Megg slipped her hand closer to his, their pinkies collided, and their fingers intertwined. “OK,” she looked at his eyes, and had another urge to kiss him. And this time she went with her urge and kissed him.
