History: Guy is the third child of the Comte and Comtesse de Layne in Eisande, and the second son. Over the years his parents had seven children in all, and though Guy never felt slighted, he often felt lost being in the middle of such a large brood. He was always the quiet one, keeping to himself, conscious of how out-of-place he felt in his household. When he was a child, a Cassiline brother stayed at the estate for several days on the way to places unknown to young Guy. The man was a friend of his father's and took an interest in the serious young boy. By the time he left, Guy knew what he wanted to do with his life, and his father readily agreed. At the age of ten, two years after his youngest sibling, Sophine, was born, Guy departed to begin his training.
Once he began training, Guy excelled. He felt as if he had been made to be a Cassiline, called by the Angel himself, and he threw himself into his training with all that he had. Like all Cassilines, by the time he reached his twentieth year, he was a master with his twin daggers and the sword, as well as hand to hand combat. He missed his family, but truth be told, he felt closer to his Cassiline "family" and hadn't the desire of some to see his family after his five years of service.
Still, those five years have passed, and now he is confronted with the choice. His father has asked that he come to visit in Eisande, and he must decide if he will go and revisit his former life.
