Here it is! The first post to my journal. I'm going to try and keep it as active as possible and I'm just going to write down all my thoughts and you may not understand it all, but hopefully you will continue to read anyway. :3
First things first, introductions. My name has been and always will be Alaina Michelle. I was named Alaina after a character in a romance novel and I was named Michell after my great aunt Mickey who was dying around the time I was born. I live my life in a city where all the children in one neighborhood can get together and play kickball in the street, where neighbors old and new can sit around in a driveway around a fire and share laughs and drinks while the kids play. I live in a place where no one even thinks about having to lock the doors on their cars or houses, where garages are left open all night playing music. We have spring, summer, fall, and winter. The leaves change colors and it snows for what seems to be an eternity in the winter. When we drive around the state the majority of what you will see is corn fields, bean fields, or hay fields. I live near the largest river in the whole country of these United States of America. The west side of my state is flatter than a pancake, the north east part has big limestone bluffs that drop straight off as limestone walls that range at an average of twenty to thirty feet high. That's as close to a mountain as it gets in my state. The part I live in is not west, it is central, yet not central and it is neither north east, nor south east, yet it is as east as it gets for this state.
Now here's a fun little game for you, guess the state I live in and if you want you can even guess which major city within this state I live by. Here's another hint for you. We have our own cute little motto we like to say, "If you don't like the weather, just wait a minute, it'll change."
