Morris Adam Knoxley
[ under construction ]

User Image( username ) the master

( the masterpiece ) Morris || Adam || Knoxley

( feel free to call me ) Morris. Just Morris ( avada kedavra ) Moe

( they'll have you convinced ) uninterested, self-absorbed, dull, mysterious ( but if you asked me, i'd tell you ) misunderstood, introverted, thoughtful, talented

( gender ) male ( and i fall for ) girls...mostly

( proud ) Slytherin

( d.o.b ) September 5th ( making me a ) Virgo ( who's about to turn ) 16

( this will be my ) 5th year

( my parents are ) Charles and Theodora Knoxley ( so my blood runs ) Mostly pure

( my wand is ) thirteen ( inches of ) oak ( wood, and a center of ) unicorn tailhair

( the ghost of my happiness is a ) pudĂș fawn

( my animal companion ) is a white mouse ( called ) Octavius

( on the Slytherin team, i play ) left Beater

( don't be fooled ) Dark. Brooding. Mysterious. These are thoughts you might be struck with as you look at Morris Knoxley. But underneath his cold shoulder to the world is a handsome face, with eyes the color of dark honey and an accidentally charming and innocent smile. You won't see much of that smile without working hard to get close enough for him to let you in, but once you do, you become addicted. His lips are full, and when he smiles he has shallow dimples. He has an even facial structure; cheekbones not too high, face not too full, jaw not too strong. His hair is dark and cut short, and stands up from his head in perfect disorder.

User ImageMorris has strong arms and the perfect amount of muscle to his broad-shouldered frame. He wears nice clothes, expensive, because he can afford them, and usually just a bit too dressy for whatever he's dressed up for. He isn't all that into fashion, and he likes the school uniforms, because he feels they look good, and he doesn't have to try, which suits him. Outside of school he wears button-down shirts with jeans and nice shoes, and very nice jackets.

( in another life ) Morris' parents, Charles and Theodora, met at Hogwarts. They were both Slytherins, and both in the same year, and completely hated each other. Charles' father was half-blooded, though he claimed to be pureblooded, and Theodora was of a long line of pureblood witches and wizards. They left school and went their separate ways, but a few years later they met at St. Mungo's, where they both worked as Healers in training. Still, they disliked each other, but were forced to work side-by-side, and began to get along. It took them a long time, but they finally got married, and began trying to have children. For years, they tried and tried, and were told that it would be impossible, so, at the ages of twenty-nine, they decided to adopt, and they did.

Their new daughter, whom they re-christened Mallory Anabelle, was two years old when they adopted her. Eight years later, against all odds, Theodora conceived and gave birth to a healthy baby boy. They called him Morris Adam, after their grandfathers. As he grew, he was discovered to have magical talents, and the Knoxleys were thrilled. Mallory adored her baby brother. When she went away to Hogwarts at the age of eleven - sorted into Slytherin, of course - Morris was distraught. He was only one and a half, but he missed her terribly.

Upon Morris' acceptance to Hogwarts - almost a year late, because of his September birthday - he was also sorted into Slytherin. He became quiet and reserved, and didn't strive to make friends or be accepted. When his sister got pregnant, at the age of twenty-one, when Morris was eleven, he was furious. He didn't like her husband, a Muggle-born by the name of Franco Benelli, and he was afraid that Mallory would love the new baby more than she loved him. But when Kate Moira Benelli was born, he fell in love with her, anyway.

Now, as he enters his fifth year at Hogwarts and his sixteenth birthday, he is eager to be done with school and start his career as a Healer. He loves Kate, who is now four, to the ends of the earth. Mallory is divorced, and Morris tries to visit her every chance he gets.

User Image( judge this ) Morris is a very introverted person. He cares little for issues outside his own self, and has little interest for the troubles of others. But he is not exactly cold-hearted. For those he loves, he will do anything, give anything. But he doesn't love many. Many people avoid him, feeling as though he doesn't want them around. He doesn't mind, because he prefers being alone. He likes to keep to himself and work or read or write letters home. He is very family-oriented. He is not as close with his parents as he would like to be, but he is quite close with his sister and his niece. He absolutely spoils little Kate, and can't resist giving her anything she asks for. She's the only person he'd ever allow to call him 'Moe'.

His greatest desire is to be a Healer one day. He loves Potions and Herbology and Charms, and greatly dislikes Defense Against the Dark Arts. He plays Quidditch, but isn't passionate about it, though he's quite good. He doesn't display a lot of emotion, which makes it hard to be near him, or to guess what he's thinking. He doesn't do it on purpose, he just never thinks to show his feelings on his face, and is usually too deep into his own mind to notice much.

When it comes to love, Morris doesn't fall easily. He has had a couple crushes, and dated a few girls, but would never say he'd been in love. It takes a lot to catch his eye, and often girls who put out the effort annoy him rather than intrigue him. But every once in a while, someone will have his attention. He is undecided on whether he likes only girls, or if he'd like to experiment with other options. He's very subtle in everything, and very detail-oriented. He likes to be organized and have everything well thought out, and when he makes a decision he sticks by it to the end. He experiments with different potions, and spends a lot of time in the hospital wing, watching Madam Pomfrey work. He does fairly well in school, and great in the subjects he's interested in.

Morris is not highly prejudiced, though he's been raised to be. He doesn't mind people in general, but he dislikes ignorance. Which rules out having Muggles as friends, because he feels they're ignorant of half of the world. He wishes people would get over their stupid prejudices, but won't be the one to stand up for anyone, because he doesn't really care enough to.

( i dislike )

+ interruptions
+ warm weather

+ blood purists

( and the beat goes on ) Morris isn't anti-social, just introverted. He doesn't care what people think, which only reinforces their idea that he's self-centered and cold. He can read and listen at the same time, so don't feel too put off if he doesn't actually seem to be paying attention to you. Then again, he might not be anyway. He'll draw a wand on anyone who calls him 'Moe', except for Kate, who calls him 'Uncle Moe'.
