Heh... haven't wrote in a while XD
Hey everyone, it's me... and yes, I feel guilty for not writing in my journal for about... three weeks now? XD Yeah, my bad razz
Anyways, a lot has happened since school ended... I went to art camp right after school ended, and learned to draw portraits. And seriously, drawing people and painting them is WAAAY harder than it looks. Everything has to be accurate to be able to correctly copy the person's image, and adding detail and emotion... it's pretty difficult. Nonetheless, it's one of the best classes I ever took, and I was able to learn a lot of techniques, and I'm still practicing them to improve my skills. And I met an awesome teacher and became friends with a lot of people, so I was very sad to leave, but happy to leave with happy memories.

And today, band camp ended. It started last Sunday and I (somehow) did really well on my audition, so I got placed pretty high. I didn't feel really proud because when I sat down in the rehearsal hall, the two guys on the left of me were REALLY good. But still, they ended up being my two closest friends there. (By the way, I play the trombone, just to let you know)

And yeah, those two were one year older than me and probably one of the funniest people I've met. They always cracked jokes and let me join in their conversations and we always talked smack about the band director ('cuz he was kinda annoying). One of them even threw paper airplanes at random people and caused other camp counselors to glare at us while we laughed at their shocked expressions.

I hope I'll see them again someday. Wherever they are, I hope they'll remember all of the crazy things we did- from finding every piece of paper we could find to fold paper planes to catching floating bits of cotton candy from the machine- maybe during high school, I'll see them at contests or at a football game, holding similar looking trombones and wearing the same laid back expression. Then, when I see them and smile as they notice me, the two will laugh and say their favorite greeting: "What's up, dudette?"

I'll be waiting. biggrin
