Personality: Cold and heartless, but underneath his tough exterior he has a noble heart and caring soul, he's a gentleman none the less. He's silent, only because he's been hurt in the past and can't open up as often as a "normal" person can. When he's able to relax around people he's familiar with, then his true colours show. Illya has been known to be arrogant, and teases people affectionately. He also has a funny sense of humour no matter who he is to you
Biography: He grew up in the Takara Mansion, his parents worked for Raine's parents so you could say they were childhood friends. He and Raine trained together at the same dance studio, he is even her sparring partner when she trains her magical abilities. His parents are divorced, and so he moved out of The Takara mansion when they were eight. His mother left his father with his (adopted) sister. His father became an alcoholic and would beat him everyday. Eventually Illya was sold to become a science experiment for his father’s alcohol consumption. Illya escaped, and since then, he has trained everyday, hoping he could find the people who ever cared for him. He received a letter of acceptance from the academy and decided to go...maybe they would know something about his friend and his sister.
Other: Illya's mother wanted a girl... which would explain why he has such a feminine name. Illya is sensitive about that. The science experiments done to him included cyber genetic implants, as well as digitizing his brainwave patterns. In short, Illya is actually a cyborg. Illya’s Spirit beast takes the form of a wolf- Homare, they can communicate telepathically…but people with high spiritual awareness can hear them. The people who experimented on him are still trying to “capture” or “eliminate” their “subject”
