There was a tapping noise and I searched for the source. It didn’t take long to realize it was his foot, tapping in impatience and was the only sign I got of his agitation. I guess I wasn’t much entertainment, suits me just fine. He should be bored witless, that way I can make an elegant escape. But then again him being bored of interesting, little old me kind of pissed me off too.
The Prophets plus one very important man
Kline was sitting in her corner again with the ancient skull set down next to her in a careful manner. Blood was pouring out of her mouth as well as bits of skin. She was back to eating the severed leg, savoring every bite. Tsuki only scoffed her to show his obvious displeasure. Where Tas continued to sit on the couch in an uncaring manor, eyes shut to the world about him.
That’s the setting to which Dimitries materialized in. That and Tsuki giving the casual ‘Hi,’ right before adding with a smug expression, “Your Imperial Muckiness” only to be ignored. Of course he already knew that he’d be ignored as well as Dimitries next actions. Yet for some strange reason he found it hard to predict everything the man would do but it was to be expected seeing that he IS the strongest of them all yet that didn’t mean Tsuki would clue him in.
Dimitries stared at the bunch slightly annoyed at their general attitude towards his arrival. They should be groveling at his feet like everybody else but they had this superiority issue that seemed to make them think they were his equal. No rather they thought that they were better than him, an issue that needed to be righted. No matter. It’d have to wait.
He looked at them with his permanently crimson red eyes, the coldness unmatched. “You already know why I’m here,” he said in a matter of fact manor, “but I’m going to explain it to you anyways so there are no misunderstandings.” His eyes flickered at Kline, “Got it?”
“Oh yes your Imperial Muckiness,” Tsuki said smugly. He crossed his legs and clasped his hands and looked at his ‘Lord’ in a mocking attentive manor. “Oh please my good Lord! Enlighten my nonexistent soul!” Dimitries only glared at him, Tsuki was probable his least favorite out of the lot of them with Kline right next to him, both for different reasons. He didn’t have much of an opinion of Tas other than he would be very dead if he didn’t have such a useful gift and the other two would be put in their places. He smirked at the thought.
Dimitries opened his mouth to speak but was interrupted by Tsuki, “You want us to tell you what’s going on with your kiddo’s, got it.,” and was rewarded with a seething cold look from Dimitries. “I’ll get it if I don’t shut it. Got it.”
Now Dimitries wasn’t an easy man to anger and he wasn’t angry at Tsuki just…annoyed. The ‘Prophet’ needed to be put in his place as soon as possible. And guess what? As soon as possible was right now. In the next moment with barely a flicker of movement a thin thread of lightening erupted from his fingertips at Tsuki’s heart. Tsuki didn’t even react rather he just traced into the corner as if he knew what was going to happen. Yet that wasn’t the end of it, the bolt of power didn’t crash into the wall rather it followed him to his hiding spot.
“You’re so nice to me Milord.” His voice was scathing but nobody reacted. He rolled his eyes seeing that there was no other action before turning slightly. The bolt hit him in his arm. “Something to show the grandbabies,” he remarked.
There was absolutely no sound, everybody but those two were forgotten. Thinking it was now or never Kline jumped up and screamed, “MUFFINS!” before falling to the ground laughing. Nobody found it funny, though Tas didn grin, and they just stared at her. When their cold glares were registered, primarily Dimitries and Tsuki, she stopped laughing and looked at them with a shy expression. “Meepers Creepers,” she murmured softly.
Tsuki turned his attention to their Lord, “Ignore her Milord, she’s just a tad bit messed up in the head. In need of desperate counseling that I know she won’t get. That and she has been studying humans lately.”
“It’s not that bad…” Tas piped in, “Once you get used to tuning the majority of what she says out.”
“TAS!” Kline wasn’t amused, “You mean to say---?”
“Yes.” He shrugged falling back into silence after his next sentence. “Anyways, The Dark Lord was speaking so let him speak.” The only clue that he was actually listening to what was going on, you never knew when he was or wasn’t listening.
“Thank you for your input,” Dimitires said to Tas, it sounded unattached and that it meant absolutely nothing. Which was absolutely true, isn’t that nice? “Now for the reason why I’m here, are you listening?” Three heads nodded suddenly acting semi-serious. “I want you to check in on a couple of my subjects to make sure their doing their jobs. That includes the twins as you already know.”
“Been there done that,” Tsuki only shrugged, the pain in his arm forgotten. “The pup is fetching the kitten. The brat got the Angel but is having trouble moving it and a little girl is giving me a headache.”
“Could you be more vague?” It was Tas who spoke up, sightless eyes looking in Tsuki’s general direction. “You could have said that the pup was the boy, the kitten was the girl, the brat who knows, the Angel is the man, and the little girl is just the little girl.” He shrugged as if he’d made it any simpler.
“Um I’m confused.” It was Kline that time, big surprise.
“Okay.” Tas was speaking so slowly and clearly that a child would understand. “The pup boy is Lucivar, the kitten girl is Senna, the genderless brat is a genderless brat, the Angel equals what’s his face, and the little girl is just a little girl. Deal with it.” He paused before adding, “Isn’t that right Tsuki?”
“Ah huh,” Tsuki replied distracted by some unknown. “Anyways, anything else you need Milord of Dark Closets.”
If Dimitries was a child he would of rolled his eyes and had a fit. But he ignored the remarks. If it was anyone else he wouldn’t have put up with it and killed them on the spot. An organization couldn’t have such minor distractions.
It didn’t matter, little did. He didn’t even say goodbye as he vanished without a trace leaving the Prophets to amuse themselves. The man had left just in time to hear one of them, must likely Tsuki, saying that their ‘majesty’ needed to lighten up or something along those lines. In a moment he’d be back on the battlefield praying not to get too bored.
Lucia Von Strangle
Oh what a lovely day! I mean the dreary rain just screams smiling children enjoying the great outdoors. Obviously you do not know Lucia or much of anyone for that matter. It had begun to rain less than an hour ago and was heavy enough to suspend any travel in its fury. Why how grand, how fun, oh how much of a drag.
Off to the corner tucked inside a small cave sat a little girl with blonde curls. She had her arms wrapped around her small body trying desperately to keep warm. It obviously wasn’t working very well seeing that she was shivering something vicious.
That didn’t matter overly much though, she had already figured as she reached for her stuffed bunny. The stuffed bunny was a cute little thing if you ignored the rips and tears and the fact that it’s a mess. At one time it might have been of the purest white with blue lavender frills and ribbons. The beady black eyes seemed to have dulled and one ear was missing its tip but she still loved it devotedly. The bunny even had a name. Do you have any guesses? Captain Terror? Fluffaluffigous? Mr. Cherry Green? Well you have an idea even though you’re utterly wrong. It’s, or his, name is Mister Fluffy Terror or Mister Fluffy Bunny or just Malodor. Though she has called him Milufer for short.
