What, how would you pronounce DKD if he came off at very first glance as a bit of a know-it-all? And worse, a helpful one, making him harder to hate. He was an ATer, like me. But better-funded, more skilled, and as literate as I could wish. Damned if I didn't start to crush on him when I first met him, late 2k4. You would have, too. And I made what might have been the mistake of admitting I liked him. There's nothing quite like a guy's girlfriend PMing you to say you've got good taste in men. May you never know the feeling, reader-dear. That was several years ago. Recently, I've gotten back into Gaia, and AT, and I see a sig proclaiming that my former crush is still here, under a new name...So, I left a note on his profile. And he PMs me to ask who I am (new-old name). And we start talking. And soon he admits to me that he loves me. And my feelings for him never left...I just hid them away. I've never done the online romance thing before. But...with him, I feel that I'd like to try. Can you blame me? I'm writing this down to remind me in my darkest days that I am loved, and have been loved, and that I do love. And to remind me that auld acquaintance shouldn't be forgot, for auld lang syne.
