I was woken up this morning, about fourty minutes ago, by that noise. It was a plumber. Alone in the house, satin pajamas and glasses that shrank my eyes to those dots like in cartoons, peeking my dreadded head out the door and let this strange big guy in overalls and wrenches into my house.
