The children of the village came to greet her.
"Lady Kasumihime! welcome back" (Kasumihime is the name she gave the village to call her by, a code name if you will)
the children cheered.
"Thankyou but Im sorry I won't be staying at all" she said apologetically.
"Aaww" they whined.
Rain had left for the well.
In the future when she arrived as expected no one was home to greet her. She went strait to her room. She thought she'd get some sun since it was such a nice day, so she went to the kitchen and prepared a glass of iced strawberry herbal tea and some of her most favorite snacks ever!
She then went poolside and enjoed the sun's warmth for about 33 minutes.
"This is boring!" she said to herself outloud.
"Man I shouldn't have graduated school so darn soon....*sigh*"
Then she looked at her house, and wondered how on earth can there be more windows, and still not have found her way to what ever rooms they were too! After all she had lived in that house for about four years now.
Then her imagination began to take her away.
"What if those were the previous owners murder rooms, or torcher chambers!...My curioustiy is driving me crazy!" she said excitedly.
As she was just about to go to her front door of her home she saw her brother standing at the gate entrance, with a grim expressin on his face.
The wind was getting colder as he continued to stare at her, then he began to approach her.
("This isn't good" wink she thought. She wanted to break the silence, but it it held her tightly.
He stopped infront of her, and said.
"I know it's been a while and I wish I could have come on a better event, but I just thought it would be better you hear it from me...."
Their eye's were locked on eachother, he was wearing a dark blue suit, it almost looked black. He was holding some pretty important looking papers in his hands addressed to her. The wind blew his long dark hair, and he continued.
"Father and mother won't be returnig as planned, their plane crashed and is at the bottom of the ocean."
Rain's expression hadn't changed, but her insides began to tighten, twist, and numben. Xander, turned to the papers in his hands.
"They've imancipated you so your a legal adult now, You get this estate and the summer homes in France and Itally... This cheque is your trust fund, 550 million Cdn." He told her.
"What about you?" she asked.
"Everthing else" he said.
"Is that enough?"
Xander looked to her, his expression sofend, he had forgotten about the the kind and caring person she was.
"Father was a billionair... if anything, you got ripped off" he said.
"I never cared about this stuff" she began to laugh, and at the same time tears streamed from her eyes.
Xander grabbed a samll paper from his pocket and wrote his phone number and address on it and gave it to her with her papers.
"A lawyer will be coming over to help you fill these out. If you need any thing from me, just call me" he said as he walked away.
She took the papers and went to her father's previous office, which now belonged to her.
