Well it's the eleventh of November and I recently got into playing the World of Warcraft with a friend of mine in MCCES. It's not as bad as I thought, and now I will get some closure on my questions in the game. Only problem is that I still have quiet hate for it. It's not that I don't enjoy the game, it's more of the game killed one of my favorite real-time strategy games. True they are making Starcraft 2, but it's not the same. One is science fiction and the other is fantasy.
I also acquired Etrian Odyssey, Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin, Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow, and Luminous Arc for my DS to kill time. This was all before WoW apparently, but now my friend has me hooked. It's not hundred percent the game, but more like it's an MMO and I don't have to pay since he's paying for me. That and I've always enjoyed power-leveling and doing quest in MMO's. Just don't know why.
My personal thoughts on Etrian Odyssey so far is that it's pretty good. A little slow to start as your party is pretty weak and the quests require mining type skills, which eat up your points to battle. I just made miner characters and left it at that. A great dungeon crawler since it uses the stylus to make you draw your own map. Letting you get more of a dungeon crawler feel.
Next up is Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin. Not a bad Castlevania game at all. I used to think it was garbage and nothing could stand a fight to Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, but this is pretty good. The idea of using two people of different strengths to battle Dracula's castle, is more realistic for a medieval timed vampire slayer. Co-op between them certainly is the key.
Really, I didn't get far into either game before my friend got me WoW. Now I'm not disheartened that I can't really continue to play them, but... dang.
All in all my game collection will continue to grow with my next latest purchases. Although, I can't play them due to the fact I don't own a viable way to play them quite yet. I fixed that niche, though, with the Ragnarok manga. I know know a little more and it's not entirely bad.
Though I really must get to work on filling out my special leave chit, so I can go home for Christmas. I still need to make travel arrangements to fill out the said chit. Boy will that be a fun time.
Until next the next urge to write, signing off
