Or better yet a lack of my heritage stare Okay so tommorow we have to turn in our Honors Geography project which deals with where we come from and all that jazz. We have to type three pages on how our families ( on both sides) originated from and why they came to Texas. I'm not trying to play the race card or anything like that but HOW IN THE HELL CAN I FOUND OUT WHERE I'M FROM? gonk I only know for sure that I'm of couse sub-Saharan. But that's really all I know neutral and also that they were slaves and that I have some Indian in me. I think the whole project is rather depressing. I dont know where I'm from yet I see all my classmates telling everyone that they came from France or Germany. And they ask me where I'm from. And all I say is that I'm from Texas because that's all I know. In all truth I envy them because of how easy they have it. They could just look up the origins of thier last names and they could find a clear picture of where they came from. While I just get knowledge of where my slave masters came. I envy them greatly. How cool is it for them to come from England, Germany, Russia, and other awesome places like that while I come from boring Africa and having my great great great grandma as a slave?
