internet dating: FAIL.
if the damn site doesn't sucker you into making and paying for a full profile after they show you a teaser of what you're searching for, the site is populated by people who don't know how to TYPE OUT THEIR DAMN SENTENCES (I swear, do they even type in chatspeak on their effing RESUME?) short girls, or couples looking for a free agent to join in on a threesome to try and somehow save their failing marriage.
but for those who are curious, this is what I would have posted as a profile:
freelance rollergirl, pop artist with a propensity to throw things at performance artists, general nerd, giant robot enthusiast, and charming spaz. I have a weakness for girls in emo glasses or who are sporting headphones in front of large technical sound machinery.
I love horrible puns and wordplay. a girl who can keep up with my quick wit & obscure pop culture references and forgive me for my tact of a snowshovel to the face is quite appreciated. I adore trance music and anything with a melodic bassline. (I could talk for a few minutes on Donna Summer's "I feel love" and its numerous covers.) so a music lover is a definite plus. I know enough of a few foreign languages to get me into trouble, but not enough to get me out of it. however, I am completely fluent in lolcat.
