Hooray! My poem I sent in was published! I had wrote a poem and I sent it in to a contest and the winner got $10,000 and their poem published into a poetry book called Timeless Voices and I was one of those winners! I got my poem published but for some reason I have not got the $10,000. Now a lot of books are requesting my poem into their poetry book! Yay I'm so happy!If you want to see this poem here it is:
The Night And The Light

My life is as dark as night,
When you are not by my side.
I feel so alone,
There's nobody beside me,
To stand up for me,
Or even to protect me.
But when you come along,
All I see is light.
It's like I'm the wood,
And you're the spark,
To rattle me up,
And start the fire.
You're here to lighten up my day,
And a kiss in the morning is all it takes.
I love you Mom and Dad.
