i've read that he's somewhere around 700 or 800 years old... and inuyasha is around 250 years old or so.... i've looked up Sesshoumaru-sama on google before... i've read quite a few things about him... i've been to a few Sesshoumaru shrine sites and stuff... a lot of things with profiles... according to something i read, it mentions his age once in the manga... i'm not sure if it's true... but it's very likely...

Well....Inuyasha was pinned to the tree around 150yrs old...and that would make Sesshoumaru around....350...and 50yrs later would make Inuyasha 200 and Sesshoumaru 400. So yah, Around 400-550

I don't think it's mentioned Sesshoumaru's age in the manga, but I know on various online sites they say he's anywhere from 700-900 years old.

Inuyasha is 200. We learn this from Swords of an Honorable Ruler.
Sesshomaru is 500-900 yrs old. Jakken always says he's served Sesshomaru-sama for centuries.

All recorded correspondence with the great Rumiko Takahashi says that although he is mean to appear to be 19 human years old, he is approximately 500 yrs older than InuYasha and Inuyasha was approximately 150yrs old when he was sealed to the tree. That would make Sesshomaru approximately 650 yrs old at the beginning of the manga/anime series. It should also be noted that Sesshomaru will never show an age greater than he does now, since at demonic age 500, a demon stops maturing. That means he will be as gorgeous in another 1000 years as he is now. Ahhhh, if we could all say that, wouldn't it be great!

Divide 200 by 15 and you get something along the lines of 13.3333. Thus for every one year that Inuyasha lives would be equivalent to approximately thirteen years. But since Inuyasha is hanyou, he might only live half the life Sesshoumaru does. Hence, multiply 13 by 2 and you get 26. Multiply your answer with 19 and you get 494. Therefore, Sesshoumaru is 494 years old. Some people are adding 50 years to Inuyasha (because he was pinned to Goshinboku for fifty years). I would deem that information incorrect because when Myouga, Saiya (sp?) and Toutousai are talking about the number of years in which the Inu no Taishou had deceased, they say that he died 200 years from when they are talking to the Inu tachi. Hence, the fifty years is included. Inuyasha was 150 years old when Kikyou pinned him to the tree. But in case anyone wishes to stick to this information, I'll redo the math. 250/15=16.6666667; ~17 17X2=34 34X19=646. Therefore: Sesshoumaru is ~ 646 years old.

DemonLadySesshomaru No disrespect, Kaze no sakura- that 15 and 19 was referred to in HUMAN years, not demon years.. And I was correct in my age approximation! Nope, Inuyasha and Sesshoumaru are indeed fifteen and ~19 in appearance. Takahashi explicitly explained that Inuyasha was indeed fifteen years old. I wished I had the article on me, but as of now, I don't. There is a book I bought explaining the ages. If Inuyasha were actually 200 years old as Sunrise interprets, then DeviantArt wouldn't have him included in their new Mature Content filter (any character under the age of 18 cannot be drawn nude).

I heard somewhere that Sesshomaru is 1050 years old and Inuyasha is about 350... Including the 50 years that Inuyasha was pinned to a tree by Kikyou.

The 15 and 19 years are in HUMAN YEARS!!!! InuYasha was about 100 when he was pinned to the tree- in demon years......Sesshomaru is in all things I have read about 300-500 yrs older than his little brother.... The age varies somewhat, but that 15 is definitely HUMAN YEARS.....
Geesh... some people don't know much about us demons, do they?

If you say that his is 300-500 years older that Inuyasha, and Inuyasha was 100 when he was shot by Kikyou. 50 years passed and still Sesshomaru is 300-500 years older than Inuyasha. That means he would be 450-650 years old. 3nodding
