First, I like it when J.C. calls, because like most people I find it amusing. But, do you think J.C. is a real caller? He is so over the top that I find it hard to believe that he is really that way and not just a caller that just wants attention. Does anyone really know someone who is like an ultra whacked out religious nut job that thinks he's the next coming of God? And, besides that, J.C. Jesus Christ, come on.

Sure he's real. An eerily large portion of the listeners are very conservative. JC just is upfront about it.
Besides, if it's an act, it's a damn good act.

I think he is an act, but not affiliated with the show, so just a famous caller. Art always treated JC the same way as he treated Oscar, the anti-christ caller. I love JC, he always brightens my night with his antics. Hear most of his calls here http://www.putfile.com/sanguinarius/mediaI love it.

This link is awesome! I didn't realize that JC has so many memorable moments on C2C.
Oscar is cool/weird/disturbing. I love one exchange between Art and Oscar. Art began changing his voice using his equipment to make him sound "Satan" like. Art then began taunting Oscar. It made me laugh so hard.

I actually don't think they are real. I've listen to enough talk radio to believe that I can spot a fake when I know one. I think JC is nuts, but and he may believe in some of the stuff that he is saying, but I don't think he really does the things that he says he does. Like he has a compound, like he has a grip on followers, etc. Oscar is totally fake.
Have you ever heard of the Belcher? He calls radio shows and sounds totally serious. Then just as he is about to make a point he throws in a huge burp and yells "Yippie!!!" He has a my space page with clips. He is similar to East Coast Bob. You can find both on MySpace and YouTube. They do it just for the thrill of getting away with being on the air.
If JC was real, he would take George's and Art's offer to be on the show as a guest. He just calls to get on the air.

I've only started listening this last year and then off and on, but from what I have heard it does not seem like they are real. Too much drama. Not enough substance. Too bad.

I think J.C. is for real...kind of.
I think he really believes what he is saying to be true, but I don't think any of it actually is true.
I think he has a mental disorder. xd
I haven't been able to listen to the actual program (even the links in the sticky don't work for me. They load, but the show won't play). All I've been able to hear are the files posted by Skathulhu, so my opinion may not really count for much seeing as I don't have the whole story.
....it's really funny to listen to though. xd

I haven't gotten the chance to listen to any of this due to the fact I live outside of receiving range, but this has got me to an idea. I think that our society has gotten to the point that even if the true, blue Jesus Christ or God or whomever would appear on Earth, it would be difficult for most to except them for who they were. Do you really think you would believe a person who straight out and said that they were Jesus Christ (again, or whomever)?
