This afternoon, my Mom and I went to a restaurant called Friendly's for ice cream. I used to go there all the time when I was little, they have these awesome ice cream things that look like clowns... anyway, I was wearing my Metamorphose sailor zip up (which I totally recommend- worth every cent! they were on sale when I bought mine, so hurry and get one!!) and I had jeans on and my hair pulled back. When we walked in, the host greeted us and asked how many like usual. We said two. I sort of thought I was dreaming when he grabbed a kid's menu. rofl My Mom was more offended than I was; being a Lolita I was amused that my youthfulness had deceived him, even when I wasn't dressed up. XD Now, I know I look young, but not so young as to warrant a kid's menu! the lowest age people have thought I was is 11, but I get 14 most often. I'm really 18. (taken today-I look weird with my hair pulled back!) so-- Do I look 14? When do they usually stop giving you kid's menus? Has this ever happened to you? In loli or not?

LOL. You look very young. xD Not young enough for a Kid's Menu, though! How tall are you?

You do look young--at first glace, but when you actually look you can see that your a bit older 16-17 in my opinion. But dont fret! it only means that you will be able to, when your older, wear loli and still look young mrgreen

You do look young, but I know that you're not fourteen from recent pictures you've posted. [Its funny. I'm 14 and people think I'm 16-18. Someone asked if I was out of high school yet. I mean, really. I'm only 5'3''. Lol]
;D Cute hoodie, btw. <3
EDIT: There is a Friendly's in my town, but ironically it's not an ice cream place. It's a pub.

Heheh, I'll believe that. They asked me once at a restaurant if I wanted a kid's burger or adult, and I naturally said kid's expecting a normal burger just a little smaller (I can't eat a whole 1/2 pounder! XDD) So I was expecting a burger 1/2 the size of an adult one...they gave me a burger about 4" across in diameter and all it had was cheese and a patty...um yeah. You'd think they wouldn't offer that to someone over 10.
Then again some people ask me if I'm married and out of college...um yeah. XD It was an old person so I'm assuming they have bad eyesight.

Wow, you don't look a day over 14! I bet you'll keep your youthfulness for a very, very long time. :]
People usually do mistake me for being a lot younger, but usually figure out I'm a little older when I talk. (large vocabulary, lawl.)

Well I suppose it's easy for people to mistake me for a small child...I'm almost the exact same height that I was when I was ten sweatdrop

You do look pretty young, but I'd guess 16 or 17...
Mmm..I ususally get asked if I'm 18, but then again I'm pretty developed body wise. Also it's the way I talk too.. but it's nice to be able to be recongnized as someone mature for my age, since alot of people at 14 don't act like they are 14.

I would guess 15 at youngest, really. Maybe the freckles made them think you were younger?

This happens to me ALL the time. I'm only about 5 3 so I can understand how height would have something to do with it. I actually feel pretty flattered ... not sure why though XD

LOL. You look very young. xD Not young enough for a Kid's Menu, though! How tall are you?
-...quand le soleil sera couché dans ton âme froide.- I'm 5' 1". so not only do I look young, I have small boobs AND I'm short. XD but that's also why I'm a bit weary of wearing clothes that are fine for an 18 year old (low cut shirts or short skirts) because I look so young. D: Nanami, that's why I like it. smile I got good genes, my mom and my dad both look about 10 years younger than they really are! Hydroponic, I bet I will. like I said, I have good genes- my mom's usually mistaken for about 37 and she's 50. XD Boconnotto- maybe! why do people always associate freckles with youth? just curious. Liss-Dexia, thanks! ^_^ that picture is hilariously cute.

@ Lady Adokenai : Freckles are often associated with little kids I think because a lot of the time they fade as someone gets older, or in most cases girls cover them up with make up. ^^
...I might be wrong though, but that's what makes most sense to me. sweatdrop
