Ok, well....This is about Gackt's appearence throughout the years (no not as in how hot he is)
I've been going through some of his stuff and I have to say...when he had that long hair, in half cornrolls (music video: Redemption) I thought that just looked HORRIBLE on him. The look just does not fit him at all, I mean sure it looks cool and such, but just does not flow, though it does sort of follow the theme of the video.
Also, Gackt and his blonde hair all over the place...It looks really nice, and I'm not sure if anyone else noticed, but I thought he looked a WHOLE lot like Cloud from Advent Children! I mean, it actually looks as if Cloud was created to LOOK like Gackt~! Only wanted to see if anyone else noticed.
When Gackt's hair was long and tied up like a samurai's, that was pretty good looking on him too, I mean, his hair is just about perfect now, but still, having it tied like that is totally awesome.
There were times when I saw Gackt in girl clothes, and even though he looks great in them (just like a girl, but better) I just don't like it at all, I mean, he looks feminine enough as it is, and having a bone structure like that, going to the extent of cross-dressing just is kind of a turn off, but that's just my opinion.
Personally, I think he looks best with his shaggy brown-red hair and wearing a black tux with is awesome sunglasses.
What about you guys? What do you think of his appearences?

I think it's true that the creators of Advent Children modeled Cloud after Gackt. Actually I thin it is true. They also used Gackt as the model for Squall, I think.
From what it seems he's willing to try everything. And I admire him for that. It's like he's not afraid and probably doesn't care of what people will think or say and he just does it.
I agree that he looks really good in a tux with sunglasses. But in thelong run... I'm not sure what my favorite look of Gackt's is. I like most of them.

Has a howl I like seeing Gackt’s appearences he’s funny and I love it when he performs biggrin There are some times though were he stars showing off a bit to much. But we’re all human even Gackt and I think that good to keep that in mind,he can’t please everyone all the time .

Yeah, I completely forgot about Squall, but come to think of it, All_I_Ask_Of_You, Squall does look awfully like Gackt.
Also, you're right blackdragon919....Gackt has alot of character.
On another note of appearences, I want to know which album cover everyone likes best....for me, it's either Diabolos or Nonisakuhananoyouni. The cover for Diabolos is so dark and ummm...how do you say....renewed. As in a new face...sort of. And Nonisakuhananoyouni is just pretty. 3nodding

Heh. I thought he looked fine with all of them.. I mean, I guess the cornrolls sorta scared me.. x__x; But he didn't look bad or anything..
I personally think that he looks the best with his shaggy brown-red hair, I guess you can say it fits him.

That is a very nice look on Gackt, most definately~!
Gackt has just so many ways of expressing himself just by his hair styles and that's a good thing, not many people can do that effectively or as perfectly, and it's something I respect (even if that seems odd)
And about my fave being the brown-red hair...it's the one in my siggy.
I just now found something while surfing the web for some pics and ran across this one really nice pic of Gackt...so I clicked on it and it went to this like some people and their parts in movies and such...and Gackt really is the model for Squall, and the first working one was finished in 1998 or something like that.

i hated and will continue to hate LONG hair. any type of long hair on him is so .. bleh. i love his short hair.. as long as it looks good on him. i disliked his corn rolls too. ewww haha
and yea i wish he wouldnt dress as a girl (he doesnt do it anymore though really) because it's a definite turn off. it makes me so confused as to who is a woman or man. i was watching a show where Gackt was playing table tennis with an older woman. i thought she was a man at first.

I LOVED!! Gackt in Vanilla~! And yes, that resemblance is seriously uncanning(?) The only part that I didn't like about Vanilla was the way he was just kinda swaying in the chair...that was kinda...strange.
Oh, and if you go to my pro, for those who have not seen the picture, there is one of Gackt in the Squall outfit and he has his pants unzipped and all...yummeh, but it's not a big pic or anything, it should be at the bottom.
But yeah, EuthanasiaOfSanity, that was the hair I was talking about, just tied up...it's really sexy that way.
