My favorite Genre would have to be Metal...
I like metal because of the fantastic guitar playing...
My favorite metal bands are: Bullet for my valentine, All That Remains, and Avenged Sevenfold.

Favv: Rock!/Screamo
Why: Because Rock has so many different genres [screamo, punk-rock, emo, pop-rock, hardcore, classic] it's almost impossible to not find something that you like. There's a little bit of everything, for everyone. They have guitar solos & screaming, but not as heavy as in metal. Honestly, i [being a pretty loud person] love that kind of stuff.

I wouldn't say I have a favorite genre, I just like specific songs.
Which translates roughly to:"I don't listen to nearly as much music as most people, and I probably couldn't tell one sub-genre from another. Also I'm afraid to listen to new music (for no good reason), and I feel stupid now."

Actually, I listen to a bit of everything. One minute I'm in the mood for Slipknot then Chopin or Eminem.
Anything is fine to me with the exception of country. Have mercy on my ears.

I can't categorize my favourite type of music.
I have everything from screamo to electronic to alternative to orchestra to rap…
I've given up fitting my music into a genre.

I prefer the Genre rock. I can mange to listen to bands like system of the down every once in a while...but NEVER all the time. I also listen to music that lifts me up... (Yes any Genre of Christian music) I HATE RAP AND HIP HOP END OF STORY! I find it mainly songs about drugs and women. I also like songs that are kinda softer and songs like have mixed genres.

Hmmm in general for me it has to be Rock because that's where the music I like is generally categorized into.
Also, I can't quite seem to choose a few favorite artists/bands in rock either because I like so much.

i like techno alot, i think it's because it's fun, and you can dance to it. =D
family force 5 & freezepop
but it isnt my favorite. i think it really depends on my mood.
i also like screamo, and heavy metal. and then i like alternative rock.
my genre's range from slipknot, to flyleaf. so.... eh. yeah.

I mostly like Rock, hip-hop, J-rock, & pop.
Some of my favorite songs from some of those genre would be a band called 'Cinema Bizarre'
They have a really good song called 'Get off' biggrin
