Anyway.. welcome to Bloodstained Reflections, Suigetsu's [SasuSaku] fan-thread. Here fans may fan-girl/boy over his awesome-ness, rant about his recent absence, or whatever. Suigetsu Houzuki (鬼灯水月, Hōzuki Suigetsu) was a ninja from Hidden Mist who one day dreamed of becoming a Mist Seven Swordsman member. He trained underneath the group but was prevented from achieving his dream. At some point he became a captive of Orochimaru.
Suigetsu is the first member to be recruited into Snake. He is freed by Sasuke shortly after he defeats Orochimaru. Suigetsu's teeth are shark-like, much like Zabuza Momochi's and Kisame Hoshigaki's. Suigetsu's name means "water moon," a reference to something that can be seen but not grasped, as the moon reflected in water is.
He is able to reduce himself to liquid form and to return to bodily form at will. This ability also allows him to change his body shape, giving him the ability to increase the size of his limbs, proportionally increasing his strength, if necessary. It also makes striking him somewhat difficult; since he is made of liquid, any sufficiently powerful strike will go right through his watery form. [It is unknown if this is a bloodline ability or due to Orochimaru's experimentation.] He is arguably quite powerful or at least very confident in his abilities, since he has threatened Sasuke on more than one occasion. Kisame Hoshigaki even commented on Suigetsu being a prodigy at the art of murder and the next Zabuza Momochi. Suigetsu is also the first ninja seen carrying water bottles on his outfit. Given his somewhat frequent desire to consume water, Suigetsu may require regular hydration to sustain his watery form.
Suigetsu has Sasuke take him to Zabuza's grave in the Land of Waves after being released, wanting to take possession of the latter's zanbatō. [When he does take it he explains how the Mist Seven pass on their swords to the next generation, and that he would carry on Zabuza's legacy.] Having trained with the Seven Swordsmen of the Mist, Suigetsu can wield the weapon with relative ease, but traveling longer distances with the sword strapped onto his back tires him out rather quickly. In his allegiance with Sasuke, Suigetsu hopes to acquire the sword of Kisame as well, which Karin assumes to mean that he wants to collect all of the swords of the Seven Swordsmen.
He seems to have some enmity for Juugo and Karin, though it isn't clear why. During the trip meant for recruiting Karin, Sasuke asks him to free all the prisoners previously kept under Karin's guard. As a condition of their release, he has them tell those they meet that Sasuke has killed Orochimaru and intends to bring peace to the world. As Sasuke is never seen mentioning this to Suigetsu, it remains unclear if this is Sasuke's actual goal or merely manipulation on Suigetsu's part. Suigetsu is later seen looking for information and shows his ability by killing three guards that work for Akatsuki.[Information from Wikipedia and leafninja.com]

A random part of this theory can be found below.Quote: A lot of people have been saying how it can't work because Sai's brother is from ROOT and Suigetsu is from Mist. But as I said in one of my posts... Suigetsu could have come from the Hidden Mist and worked/trained under Zabuza. He could have then decided (for a reason I can't think of as of now) to join root in konoha.-- They could have accepted him because they needed men/his abilities/or because they wanted information on Mist. Remember when Yamato spoke about how ROOT uses the same training method as Mist? --He and Sai meet. Orochimaru heard of his talents (transforming into water) and decided he wanted him. Orochimaru did something to fake Suigetsu's death by making him look sick and took him in for experimentation.

Suigetsu is AWESOME. He never fails to make me stop smiling. His teasing comments, his badass-cloakness, his playful killer attitude <33 I am so glad Sasuke got a cutie to join his team. Even KISAME thinks he's cute D: what does that tell you?
I expect big things from him in the future. I cannot WAIT until he gets a big battle scene to himself. I hope Kishi doesn't make short of it <<; Like when Team Gai had to battle themselves. That was disappointing.

Suigetsu is love. Every chapter he appears in is a good one, simply because he's always making me laugh with his snarky attitude. :B I love his interactions with the other characters; his b***h fights with Karin, his poking fun at Sasuke, (and his spastic fight with Juugo).
