So, i recently got glasses. I wanted to know what you think of glasses/contacts (which i'm getting also), if you have them or not and discuss the advantages/disadvantages to them.
also discuss: -Contacts, hard? or soft? -Design of your rim(or what you'd like to have, if you don't have glasses) -any other things you might think up. sweatdrop

I have both contacts and glasses. Though I tend to wear my glasses more than my contacts. This is because I am running low on my contacts and they sometimes irritate my eyes by making them red. I've tried both hard and soft contacts, but I go with soft because the hard (which were for correcting a astigmatism) scratched my eye too often for me to wear them. All in all, I am fairly comfortable wearing my glasses. blaugh

I don't wear either. My sister and father do - my dad's side of the family has had somewhat bad eyesight.
How are contacts? Are they annoying to take off and put on?
If I had glasses, I'd have the most circular rims ever. I have a pair of shades like that, and people think I look like John Lennon. blaugh

I have glasses, I've worn glasses since I was in first grade. Or was it kindergarten? (Still have my first pair too)
Anyway I used to wear the big bug-eyed circular kind, ^^ I actually looked cute in them when I was little. Now they're kind of oval shaped, and I prefer glasses instead of contacts. I think I look better with them.

wow. I got contacts and glasses this week. I'm trying to get used to the contacts, but...it's hard. When I wear glasses...my aunt told me that I look like I've had them for a long time. Which...is....weird? Anyway, I guess I'm just not used to them. ^^
My rims are...metal. It looks a bit crude, but I like them. strange isn't it?

I wear glasses, as you all of course know =) I LOVE my current frames, everytime people see them, they think the rims are new, but they're not! They just look cool. And people always ask me if they're designer, which they aren't because thats a waste of sterlings.

Anyway, I'm still trying to get used to my contacts. Has anyone had hard contacts for a while? I don't know how long it'll take for me to get used to them.. urg.

Why are you wearing hard contacts instead of soft ones? You should buy a hell of a lot of comfort drops.

I wore hard contacts for about a year Sunrage. They kept scratching my eyes so I had to switch to soft. Hope that they work better for you! 3nodding

why am I wearing hard contacts? because... the eyedoctor said there were a lot less complications with hard contacts and the soft ones caus lots of eye irritation, infection etc.
I don't know. i'm kinda getting used to it now.

When I was younger, I felt like I couldn't get used to my glasses either, but now that's pretty much all I wear. 3nodding
