Or it just means that there is more for SasuSaku out there now than there was in the past.
It's good to hear that SasuSaku has finally gained some wide-popularity, but there are some of us in the guild that are also NaruSasu/SasuNaru fans, including myself. We're just more intelligent then the ones that post in that lj. Seriously, reading some of those posts made me realize why I left that group.... -_-
So you might want to tune down your post (meaning, take out the "too bad for you Yaoi fangirls" part).

I love a good SasuNaru fic. biggrin I'm always dedicated to my OTP, but it's good to have other options. Don't be closed minded about gay relationships, embrace them. <3

I can't say I really care... I know that not something a SasuSaku fan should say.
But, if I get all excited about a simple poll result, I wouldn't be much better then the people in that LJ. ( No offence )
I like what I like, and I think what I want about it. It doesn't matter to me how popular or unpopular something is, and SasuSaku being popular doesn't prove that it will happen, or that SasuNaru won't happen.
Though, I must say, reading some of those comments, I got quite offended...
SasuSaku unhealthy? Girl, don't get my started on why SasuNaru would be disfunctional. >>
I hate it when a pairing is bashed by people who's OTP's are no better off. They're so busy looking at the flaws of other people's OTP, that they fail to recognise the flaws in their own.
Even I can admit where SasuSaku might not work out, but don't tell me it's 'unhealthy' when you can't even see the 'unhealthiness' of your pairing.

...? 8D I don't particularly care, to be truly honest. The number of fans doesn't account to whats going to happen. Because there are a lot of IruKaka fans out there, doesn't mean its going to happen xD You know? And to be honest, there are a lot more SasuNaru fans out there, on the whole. The SasuSaku community is huge, but I think the SasuNaru point of view is bigger @_@ I couldn't say for sure though. Google-fights dont mean much. I have nothing against NaruSasu fans at all. Okay, first of all, it's ridiculous that they are upset that there are more results on Google. Just because a pairing's fandom is bigger doesn't even come close to meaning that it is more likely going to happen. I don't even want to see their reactions are when they realize that it's never going to happen. Uaghh. I feel like I'm one of them for saying that, but seriously, there are too many reasons why I don't think it's possible. The top one being that it's a shounen manga, published in the most popular shounen magazine. >>; I don't think the "shounen" (THE BOYS, IT WAS MADE FOR BOYS D: ) would be too happy to see one of their manga turn into a shounen-ai. Let's face it, there are WAY more straight people in the world than gays, and I'm pretty sure Kishimoto is smarter than to do something like that, I don't think his male fans would be pleased at all ^^;
Moving on, the comments really made me mad. I know that not all of the fangirls are terrible, rabid things, but a lot of them seem to be... ^^; Um, seriously. The most unlikely pairing plausible? Seriously, before I even really got into any Naruto pairings, this was the most obvious one to me. Truthfully though, I don't see why they make such a big deal about Sasusaku/Naruhina/Whatever. I mean, even saying that it makes you want to "gouge [your] eyes out" is pretty bad. I dislike a few pairings, but never on THAT level. Please. rolleyes
