This year, the My schools drumline hit an all time record of three tenors(myself included), five snares, and five basses. this left me wondering. How big are other batteries?

Kanaan_Stacato d'oh. I forgot our four cymbals. >> Yeah, but we may end up only have one tenor(me) since I serriously doubt anyone else(beside our snares) will be able to play the part for next year's show...

Well, I'm not the only tenor, but I'm the newest this year. Those things hurt after carrying my snare last year.

haha we are a line consisting of 3 snares, 4 basses, and 2 tenors (no cymbals) in entire band consisting of like 55 people...... ya.... it sucks, but at least its not as bad as one band last year who literally had 4 people in it and the rest was cologuard : P

We have 6 basses 5 snare, and 4 tenor. so 15, although we can add another bass we have 7 we can use total. xD i feel bad for the guy who plays the biggest he's getting back problems. sad
Our pit has 22? people it might be more depending on 1 or 2 people.
Why do you guys have cymbals? we dont yet? i dont know what were doing yet for cymbals.

two tenors, two bd's, one quints, one snare, two cymbals. EVERYONE is new to their instrument except for me, and I'm the only senior. lol And I was the first female in my band's DL.
there are five people who are truely new to their instruments, and the rest excluding me upgraded. last year, three people left: one moved and two just hate everyone. :B
we have two cymbalists in reserve for MB's off season. one is a sousa and the other is a baritone.
as for actual marching in the show, it's only bass drums, snare, and quints: one of the tenors goes into bs, one of the bs and one tenor go into pit playing accessory or bass guitar. and the cymbals are on melodic percussion.

for the football games, our line goes up to 6 basses, 4(?) snares, and 3 tenors, with one girl who doesnt technically play cymbals, but she uses them as a hi-hat for our center snare player on like 2 songs lol
