Announcement: Since it seems we're getting quite a bit of support, we're gonna try and get a schedule going soon. Lineartists, we need you! : D Anyone capable of lineart, please give an idea of how long it would take you to get together some sketchy ideas (not finished art or anything.) We'll probably do about three stages; egg, chick, and adult. For adult we'd need male and female, and possibly male and female for the chicks too. I'm also taking part in this, so I'll be getting my sketchy ideas up as soon as possible. XD

HOWEVER, it is also possible to begin the other aspects of the shop BEFORE lineart and the breedables section has been finished.

Announcement #2 - The mule has been made!
Name: PPS Shopkeeper
Password will be given out upon PM. Don't wanna post it here since it can be seen by non-guild people if they look. You can PM the mule, me, or Volly for the PW.

Everyone can have acess to the mule, but let's try and be careful about attempting to have only one person on it at a time. XD Not sure if it'll have any effect if multiple people are or not... Just make sure to copy any text you're going to post to your clipboard before you post it, in case you're kicked by someone else being on the mule at the same time.

Hello, Penguins! Volly and I were discussing a big project for the guild, if you girls are up for it. : D

We've got a whole lot of talent here in the guild. :3 Everything from artists, to colorists, to managers, to writers, to graphic artists, etc etc etc. So, if we pooled our efforts... We could no doubt have the most awesome shops on Gaia EVAH. *Dramatic lightning flash*

SO. The idea was to perhaps create PPS shops, at least in the breedables and arts shops varieties. Of course, there's also room for expansion into other areas: banner shops, pixel art, etc.

As any of your who have run these types of shops know, this takes a lot of coordinated effort and either one multi-talented person, or a good group of specialized people. Which is why this guild would be perfect to run a shop/chain of shops together. : D


Logistics
-If we do decide to do this, we should choose whether to run a giant main shop in the main section of the minishops, or multiple inter-linked shops in the subforums.
-The/Each thread would be run by a PPS mule that all the staff members would have access to, and that we could manage orders from. I trust all of none of you will cause problems with this. XD
-We'll lay out and have an organized way of deciding who does what job once we decide how many threads we're going to have.
-We will also work out the splitting of profits once everything else is decided


Ideas
-Volly suggested little mini penguin breedables in different colors, complete with Gaia items and little symbols and such. They'd be very cute. : D
-Volly also propsed the idea of calling the breedable shop .//Sushi on iice//. A PPS Store
-If there are multiple different shops, it would probably be best to have them all have a common title theme, and int he above case it would be the 'A PPS Store'

And I think the Knuffel thread still has a tutorial on making breedable growing pets. We could check that out. heart

Depends what you're editing. XD If you mean writing, we'll need text/story writers, especially for the breedables. If you mean pixel and such, avatar editors are usually in high demand. :3
