Hey all! I'm tattoo/piercing crazy. I really am. So I figured I'd open up a post to share with you experiences with my own tattoos and piercings as well as answer questions anyone has. Oh, and feel free to share pictures! I know I will be. So I've been doing something crazy for a little while that I've wanted to share with people.... because I can. In any case, the following may be gut-wrenching to some and may be interesting to others! You've been warned! A few months back, I got my ears pierced because I wanted to start the process of stretching my ears. This is where you stretch the holes in your ears so you can place inside a variety of different sized earings. They're usually called plugs or flesh tunnels. So here is a picture of my new plugs. I'm currently stretched to a 2 gauge (6mm) in each ear and steadily trying to get to 00g (10mm). I may go higher but we'll have to wait and see. Anyways, picture: Warning, your mother may kill you for doing this because I said it's cool. Be sure to understand the responsibilities in all this poop before you go ahead and do it. UPDATE!This hurt a little bit but I put a good three weeks before stretching that last picture to this one. (2g to 0g or 6mm to 8mm).

Aw but it's so cool. The actual fancy plugs that you can get for your ears are kind of expensive but I find they're worth it. For instance, yesterday I saw a pair of flesh tunnels (pretty much a tunnel... make it possible to see through your ear) that had a rim that resembled a buzz saw blade. It was so badass. Hold on, I'll find pictures to describe them. Plugs: These are not usually so plain. They can come in a solid color with designs on their sides. They come in acrylics or metals all varying in prices but really cool none the less. Tunnels: Flesh tunnels are basically this hollow tube and it screws together. Eyelets: Eyelets are like tunnels but can be single or double flared on the edges so that the eyelet stays in your ear. If it's single-flared then the other end (like the back) will need an o-ring to stay in. Anyways, I just like this stuff because it gives you a much more grand variety of ear jewelry to wear instead of all those studs and rings that most people wear.

Yes, well.. for guys at least. Girls have the advantage of being able to get away with wearing those long, dangly ones and so many other colors than guys can. It almost makes me mad though because it's yet another double standard.ish type thing where the girls can wear guys stuff too but the guys cant wear what the girls can. It's just mean. ^_^ I like earrings, they can add so many different things to so many different outfits and occasions. Also, depending on the style of the earring, it can also tell you a little about what the person is like.

Oh for sure, I had rings when my ears were first pierced. Not the huge ones but the tiny ones for eyebrows. They looked awesome. I just personally longed for something more. A girl I know at work has ears stretched waaaaay bigger than mine. Girls look fantastic with stretched ears too. I think it's more of a thing that a punk-rock generation of the early 90s brought to the table... so it's kind of like... one of those... "lets be badass" sort of things. I know that I'm addicted to piercings and I'd love to get a few more in the ears. I was thinking of getting another piercing just above where my ear is stretched and stretching it to about the same size as the one I have now. The one I have now will be becoming a 00g (10mm) pretty soon so they won't be the same size or anything. One big one, one small one. Might be cool if I can pull it off.

Ehehe, funny, I dont hink I'd ever try this, mainly because my older sister has, she's got flesh tunnels, D< its kinda scary cause I can stick my pinkey all the way through and still have a little space left >< I suppose I can say she's a little like you since she's got those, not to mention snake bites and a bull ring on her nose. >> Other than that she's onl got one tattoo on her chest. Its of her spinal cord and rib bones and a real looking heart. It look sik but I dont think that influences me to try that lol.

Stretching is neat but its definitely not for everyone. ^_^ You really gotta not care what people think of you when you do this stuff...especially employers. I suppose I can say it's not something that's widely accepted as professional but hey... I just don't care. ^_^ In any case, I'll let you know I'm going for my first tattoo on July 14th. I'm getting a band of 3 rabbits on my forearm just below my elbow. I'm pretty excited about it. And depending on whether I have the tattoo drawn out for me or not by then, I may also be getting a fairly large tattoo on my stomach. It would be a tribute to the band Tiger Army. ^_^

I suppose I'm one of those you could consider a "not for me" kind of person lol, dont think it would look good on me anyway. XD My sis can pull it off nicely though. Anywho... I got two remarks on how a tattoo feels, I suppose everyone has their opinions though. My other older sister got a lizard on her lower back with her name under it. She said it turned red and hurt for about a week, but my other sister with the flesh tunnels said it didnt really bother her and it wasnt so bad. I hope your experiance goes well =D. >< I'll be in school on the 14th, hopefully I can find a comp so I can see how everything went.

UPDATE! As I updated in the first post, this actually hurt a tiny bit but I have to admit it's hurt the least of all but my first stretch. I have one more gauge to go before I'm totally and completely satisfied. Here's a picture of the flesh tunnels I want when I'm done stretching. I've actually already bought them... I'm just waiting for them to arrive and of course, I'm waiting for my ears to sit comfortably at 00g. ^_^ Feel free to be all like, "ew that's gross!" because I used to think stretching was gross at first too. I actually never even really wanted my ears pierced before... but it really just suddenly started appealing to me one day. I'd have to admit it's probably because I saw all the neat kinds of plugs you could get. ^_^ Such as these: These are the tunnels I bought. The size is probably the one on the top left. Like'em? I love'em. ^_^ Anywho, that's all you get! July 14th! Tattoos!

Read'em and Weep: This is my ear at 00g (10mm). This is pretty much as far as I plan to go with my stretching. This is one of the three rabbits on my arm. They all came out fantastic. The tattoo artist did an amazing job.

Aww~ teehee the rabbit is so cute. :3 XD
And~ stretching really isn't for me, but um, that plug does look pretty sweet. :]
I never wear earrings, so the holes in my ears closed up. I repeirced them myself the other night and it hurt. I couldn't imagine the pain of stretching the holes. @.@
