I'm visiting my father's house, so I'm forced to use this slow Dial Up connection. After having a cable modem, this is torture. ;__;
I'll be here for about three weeks, so I guess I'll just have to deal with it.
Do you think it's worth it to go to the library where the connection is faster, but have a time limit((since the library only allows one hour per person)) or just deal with the slow connection?
Does anyone here have dial up so they can relate? XD
EDIT: Also, I must mention that I can only use the internet after 11PM since my family doesn't want me using their only phone line during the day. Understandable. x:

I think it'd be better to use the dial-up. o-o If you only get 1 hour at the library, it doesn't sound like it's really worth it. >> I mean, you might be in the middle of something when your hour is up. xP

I used to have dial up, it was frustrating - but it wasn't that bad... I mean, it gets the job done. ^^;; And that's the most important thing right?
And yea, I agree with Chibi Kitsune, at least you get more time at home... so even if it is slow, you may be able to get more stuff done.

I used to have dial-up also... I totally feel your pain... but if you can only go on after 11, it might be worth it to go to the library during the day. Afterall, as long as you're not roleplaying or anything, that might be just enough time to get the stuff you gotta get done done.

@Chibi Kitsune Warrior: Yeah, that would probably happen to me. D: I like to write emails to my penpals before I get offline, so I'd probably be finished writing and ready to send it when the time runs out. XD
@Akila: That's true. But some things I can't even do with Dial Up. I was trying to email myself some music I have on this computer and it wouldn't work since I kept getting bumped offline. I think a lot of it has to do with the internet provider. e___e
@KitsuneChan: That's true. An hour during the day is better than nothing. gonk Yeah, I don't roleplay, so I really don't have to keep up with anything except emails. XP
