For me, I'd say anything by Lewis Carroll. I've read his stories to kids, and had so much fun! Children's books, or novels, doesn't matter to me. What do you think is the best book to read out loud?

I am a quiet reader, except that when I read something funny, a passage, poem, anything, I immediately have to repeat it to someone, or practice how I think it's said aloud.

I don't read to other people, but I will start reading out loud to myself. I won't even realize it until I run out of breath. I'll quote books to people every once in a while, but I won't have the book with me so it's not really reading the book out loud.

Yeah, if something makes me giggle insanely, I usually have to share--which takes even longer because then I have to provide context to explain the joke. twisted

I love to read just about all of my books out loud. The only problem is, since I have no one to read them to, I usually read them out loud to myself!

When I read, I usually read silently to myself, but if there's something exceptionally cool or funny, I do share it with people that's around if they'd be interested

I've never been a fan of reading out loud, but if you ever get the chance, find a friend and take turns reading romance novels out loud. This works best if you do it in an exaggerated porn star voice. Hilarious.

I never read books out loud, but when I was little and my third grade teacher read books aloud to us I loved it. I remember I was always excited for story time, I still remember the one I liked best " Peppermints in the Parlor" Who it was by I couldn't tell you, all I know is I loved the book and half the kids in my class Barrowed the book from the library so they could read along.

I really don't read out loud, but when I do find a good passage in a book, I sometimes read it to a friend. The most that I've found are in Georgia Nickleson books. They are really hilarious.

I read a loud from Dianne Wynne Jones a lot. My little sister gets So irritated when I try to read a passage from a book she hasn't read yet, so I try to limit it if I can't do it without annoying her. (sometimes.)

We did a play on it in the third grade. I was Tillie, and I had a blue dress and blue handkerchief. I think that was the one where Danny played the grandma...(Or was that Fudge-a-mania?)

Jhesy I've never been a fan of reading out loud, but if you ever get the chance, find a friend and take turns reading romance novels out loud. This works best if you do it in an exaggerated porn star voice. Hilarious. I like to do that to commercials, and serious movies, but I've never done that to romance novels. I'll have to try it. My little sister and I repeat what they say to completely obliterate their point.

Before my little cousin went to his grandparents. (There in the In-Laws, so they're not mine.) I was reading him The Alchemyst (The Secret Life of Nicholis Flamel).
