Ehhh, that's why there is a big sign above P.M field to never, ever give your password to anybody. If administrator would like to check, ban or delete account s/he doesn't need your password. They have rights that allows them to do it without your password.
maybe you will receive back your account, but you must fill out form about hacking :/. I hope that everything will turn good for you...

Ohh, just calm down, what is done, is done and you can't do anything about it. The most important thing right now is to fill this dreadful hacking form and in the mean time, just try to relax and get use to your new account.
Get some sleep, thing about positive things: it's only account on forum, it would be worse if it was bank account. You can make new friends, I know that getting back your items can be very tiering, but fill your wish list and who know, maybe you will be lucky and somebody donates item to you smile

yeah like everyone said, you're lucky it's just an account on gaia. my friend got hacked for real, they got her AIM password, myspace, her email password, bank account, EVERYTHING! They were pretending to be her and sending nasty messages to all of her friends. They somehow sent her a virus disguised as a keylogger (which logs your keystrokes/passwords/everything) and she couldn't even sign onto her accounts to change her password back b/c the bas****s changed them all!! scream scream
i felt really bad for her. crying that's why it's a good idea to change your password every 1-2 months and NEVER use the same password for all of your accounts. Once they have your one password....they gain access to everything that you used that password for!! >o<
