Here's a question for you all. You see basically the reason I never really open up to people is because, throughout all of my life whenever I trusted someone my trust was eventually shattered. I'm also pretty emotionally f***ed up which really doesn't help either. So the really question here is Why should I open up to the people here in the guild, what makes you people so much different than everyone else I've met (sorry if I offended you)?

u dont have to trust us. get to know someone before you trust them. it doesnt matter how long it takes. if u love or like someone, that trust has to build up and if they destroy it, they arent worth it

To be honest with you, nothing makes us different except maybe the fact that we too must trust others in the guild with out problems (only if we wish of course) otherwise, take me for example you don't kno who I am and you don't kno you can trust me all I can say is that i'm a trustworthy person and most people that I kno tell me things that nobody els knows. Its completely up to you to believe me. (that statement is true by the way) but still nothing makes any of these people different from the ******** ups who were douche bags enough to shatter someones trust and not even really kno the reprocussions in someones life. to me that should be a sin. nobody knows just how much they can hurt someone by betraying them in any way shape or form. Damnit... i'm ramblind again. If ya need someone to yell at and call names n' s**t or just talk just send me a PM if not its koo I understand... *mutters* god damn douche bags ******** up peoples lives... anywho... just send me a message ^.^

The difference is that we exist only on the internet as far as you're concerned, and so we can't really hurt you. We can never spread your secrets or talk about you behind your back.

There isn't much of a difference between us and them except we're on here and they're out there. I have been mistreated that way as well, and know how you feel, and wouldn't wish it on anyone else. Try to bond with someone on here , so you can have someone to talk to. (you can pm me anytime)
Believe me being with someone, that oyu cxan lean on their sholder and feel them leaning back on yours is much better than not taking the chance to obtain someone like that.

There are a few main differences
1. Like you said, you don't know us, but we also don't know you. Think of this as interwebz confidentiality. I do. You're anonymous here, and so are we. Therefore, we don't have to hide behind our social lies, social smiles, fake friendships, or anything else. Here, we are safe. We don't have to care about what you think, you don't have to care about what we think. Here, you are safe.
2. You can turn us off whenever you choose. Just logout or turn off your computer. We're here when you want us to be and we're not when you decide for us not to be. Its that simple. You have the power. You choose.

This is the one thing my partner says he loves about me - we've been backstabbed and stamped on for kindness so many times and yet I still believe the world is good, I'm still just as open to everyone and I still trust new people - though now I just expect them to hurt me!
But if I didn't open up, how would I ever find true friends? Real decent people live in this world, I believe it - If I go round all closed and distant, nobody is going to notice that I want to be their friend.
And that my dear is why you should be open, to us, to everyone - because no matter how many times your heart is broken, your feeling stamped on, your trust betrayed by being 'closed' to new people you would be 1) letting those who did this to you win, by letting them change your life and 2) missing out on some amazing oppotunities biggrin
