Something I have been debating with a few Christians I know and some Mormons also: Are people born good and fall into sin? Or born sinful and come to Christ?
I personally beileve that people are born evil and they come to Christ.
Here is a verse I use to back this up, I have some more, but don't know where they are in the Bible.
"...For there is no one who does good. God has looked down from Heaven upon the sons of men to see if ther is anyone who understands, who seeks after God. Ever one of them has turned aside; together they have become corrupt; there is no one who does good, not even one."
Psalm 53:1-3

I'd say, born nutral and made their own choices later in life.

People are born good, in that they are born in the Divine Image. However, they are also born with the tendancy to sin. After birth, I think it's very much a nuture thing.

Ya'll mean neutral right? Not correcting anything just asking.
Me I could really care less. Looking at a christian stand point I guess evil, but as for myself I think they are born neutral.

i'm changing my view. and going with born evil since from the christian standpoint all insticts are sins and thus evil.

Heres an interesting thought, if they are born evil then won't that mean a baby will go to hell if it dies?

If there are any parents out there, did you have to teach your child how to lie to you? Or steal things? And how about just plain being selfish in general?
Human-beings are born with a "sin-nature," meaning that we are born with the desire to sin.
It is only when a person is saved that they receive a new nature from God. This is how people who are saved are "born again" and considered "a new creation in Christ," because they really do become a new person. God gives you a new heart with new desires.
Of course, the old nature's still there. This creates a lot of internal conflict. That's why a Christian should pray, read the Bible, and seek fellowship, so that the right nature wins out.
As for babies:
2 Samuel 12:19-21
When David saw that his servants were whispering to one another, he realized that the child was dead. So David asked his servants, “Is the child dead?” They replied, “Yes, he’s dead.” So David got up from the ground, bathed, put on oil, and changed his clothes. He went to the house of the Lord and worshiped. Then, when he entered his palace, he requested that food be brought to him, and he ate.
His servants said to him, “What is this that you have done? While the child was still alive, you fasted and wept. Once the child was dead you got up and ate food!” He replied, “While the child was still alive, I fasted and wept because I thought, ‘Perhaps the Lord will show pity and the child will live. But now he is dead. Why should I fast? Am I able to bring him back? I will go to him, but he cannot return to me!’”
Luke 18:16-17
Jesus remarked: “Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of God. Assuredly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a little child will by no means enter it.”
Babies and young children(don't have any idea of a cutoff age) go to Heaven when they die. Abortion's still wrong though, since it's murder. God gives life, and only he has the right to take it away.
