For Darker Than Black I am abandoning the youtube link for the veoh ones. Because they are better looking, more reliable, and generally higher quality. Anyway, here's the links to episodes 1 to 4! Episode 1 Episode 2 Episode 3 Episode 4 I usually dislike the main character of an anime, but Li is friggin awesome. He's not whiney, not over the top goofy (Vash) and isn't arrogant. Plus there's a whole mystery to his character that actually interests me.

I'll probably end up talking to myself here, before being deleted, but meh, that's OK. Watched all 8 available episodes, and it's coming along nicely. I was almost certain November 11 was gonna die when Havoc died and Li put on the Mask. I was both disappointed and relieved at the same time. Cause although I like November 11, that was just perfect Contractor killing time. They set up the scene so perfectly for some a** kicking, but didn't deliver. Ah well, episode 9 looks bitchin! That poor police woman will finally get her time in the sun. Maybe.

Understandable, everyone has responsibilities and other stuff they like to do 3nodding I hope you enjoy it when you get around to it! xp I actually found a nice anime forum with full episode streams and downloads if you want the link. Since it's not a public behemoth like youtube there's no danger of episodes dissapearing either. The whole point is it's an anime watching community.

I've seen the first episode, and so far, it looks interesting. And it's a plus that the art is pleasing to the eyes. I'll peroidically post here with my opinions after I watch more.
Oh, and that Oba-san is hot! First old woman I thought that for in any fictional work sweatdrop

I really like how it looks, and I watched some of the AMVs. I'm too lazy to watch anime though, if it has a manga, I seriously want to read it. Do you know if it has one?

As far as I know it doesn't. It's an original anime production like Vision of Escaflowne or Cowboy Bebop. That's not to say it won't get a manga adaptation release like said series.
Another anime I've been fiending over and DOES have a manga is Claymore. Episodes 5-8 *drool* TERESA OF THE FAINT SMILE *spasm faint* She is probably my favorite female character now. Jill Valentine? PSH! "Say your prayers... For your existence is lower than even that of a Yoma's, and I will kill each and every one of you!" 10 seconds later, a town filled with bandit corpses. 3nodding
Oh yeah and Darker than Black gets REALLY good by episode 6. The little story arc with Havoc I mentioned is delicious! I'm just waiting for episode 10 to finish the Captain Kirihara mini-arc.

Up to volume 5. I think the manga did her justice. I tend to not need something animated to understand what is trying to be portrayed.
Need to get to episode 4 of Darker than Black now.

I agree. Inu Yasha manga = 100x better than anime (which unfortuneatly isn't saying much since the anime sort of sucks after episode... 40 or so? Whichever one started the red tetsusaiga arc). It's just that alot of the coolness toward the end of Teresa's story is action oriented, and sometimes the manga doesn't do it too well so I wasn't sure if they would. In Berserk the action gets stale pretty quickly (although to be fair it's not exactly top notch in the anime either).
Those cliffhangers in DTB drive me crazy. Everything is set up in bi-episode mini stories, and if you have to wait for the second part it burns. Hence why I'm gonna let it build up.

I'm just gonna replace the youtube link in the first post with the links to the full first 4 episodes on veoh. youtube sucks for anime nowadays anyway (They always get taken down at the worst times and quality is pretty low)
PS: Yugh... Trying to resist the urge to watch episode 11 of DTB. If I watch it now the cliffhanger will only anger me crying

One thing I'll give Youtube credit with is allowing me to discover torrent. Without youtube, I wouldn't know the joys of downloading.
Cliffhangers are wonderful if done right, but I do feel that too many can be irritating.
