does anyone happen to know how to install extra fonts into photoshop?
downloaded ones such as TrueType files...o=
is certain software needed? xP (*prays for it not to be so...*)

Not that I know of. I go to 1001freefonts.com, click on the font I want to download, open up the .zip folder i downloaded, then move the fonts inside the .zip folder into the fonts folder and POW, I have new fonts on Photoshop. =)

Self Destructive Not that I know of. I go to 1001freefonts.com, click on the font I want to download, open up the .zip folder i downloaded, then move the fonts inside the .zip folder into the fonts folder and POW, I have new fonts on Photoshop. =) Hope this helps! Is that the computer's fonts folder, or does Photoshop have its own?

It's the computers fonts folder. When you add them there, restart your photoshop program and they will be in the list of fonts on photoshop.
