Yeah I have, but Nan usually yells at me for lying because she'll turn it over and see someone else's name on the bottom.
"That's not yours beefcake! Why would you lie to me like that?? I hate liars!" And then she'll stomp around for a while.

Huh... Weird because I never lied and they would give me the item. They would say something about being honest and they give me the item or that they believe it's mine and give it to me any ways.

Well yea. Usually it would depend for me also. Like they'd say, "HAY YOUR LYING. LOL." But sometimes, if I say yes, they'd give it to me because they'd belive me. xD
Also, if they knew that I was lying, they'd get really mad.
But they always get over it. ;O

I say it's mine all the time, but I've never been called on it. Usually they say "yeah, I thought it'd be the kind of thing you'd own" or something like that, and it ends up being something dumb or crappy, and I think they're trying to insult me. confused

I used to do that, but once I ended up with no one in my village speaking to me for a very long time. I think I had to quit and come back later before anyone would have anything to do with me. It upset/amused me, and I stopped lying about found items.
