they say there's a beta of the old internet channel so i go to the shop channel to download it. it's not there. so i go to the options to download new software avalable. it says nothing new is there because i've downloaded it all. i go back to the shop channel and it's not there. i really want the new internet channel. and why can't connect 24 work? i tell it to light up the disc slot and it doesn't can someone help me please? how do i know that the connect 24's working? i get no messages from it.

Have you tried to do a system update in Wii settings?
