Josh's post (which I read about two minutes ago) started me thinkin' "What the hell hasn't been done before?"... So... Can you answer me?
It seems as though everything has either been thought of or done before, do you agree? Do you disagree?
Please explain your thoughts, maybe in time it will begin to make sense... confused

ninja of Persia technomagerey, magik dealing with technology "Postmodern Magick" by Seth has two spells that deal with technology ( Ghost in the Machine, I can't tell what the buggery that's supposed to do, and Machine Empathy, which supposedly lets you create an empathic rapport with the machine or something), as well as a set of magickal techniques - like shielding and summoning - given a computer-y twist. No-one's created a full system called Technomancy (or, to be more correct, technomagy or technurgy) though, as far as I can tell.

1) [In/E]vocating a Pokemon or Digimon. 2) Magick based on mathematical constructs (I mean, come on, imaginary numbers? Sounds just ripe for mathemagick.) 3) Divination using cigarette smoke. 4) Spells using physical books (Using Stephen King's It in a ritual to send a fear demon after someone, for example.) 5) Giving someone a seizure through a magickal picture on Myspace. 6) Purposefully creating a haunted house.
If anyone's heard of any of these things being done by the way, I'd really like to hear about them. Except for the first one.

Mitsh 6) Purposefully creating a haunted house. XD.........am I a bad person? XD....I've done that lol, before I moved out of my a*****e father's house, I removed the barrier his wife put up and summoned a few spirits to the house and never banished them. I'll get to work on figuring out cig smoke divination and evocation of Raticate =D.....lol. I'll leave the math to somebody who doesn't get headaches from it >.>...

There are only two things that come to mind. Magic that uses magic to create magic, but is not magic. And a computer that does magic.
Something else came to mind, but I don't know if it's been done. Enchanting something else to do magic. Like, enchanting a cat or a dog to perform magic or kinesis of some type. And I totally slaughtered that word.

No matter what time you go to, it automatically makes that time the "present" and your memories the past. There isn't any such thing as being able to go into the future. The present is always.

No matter what time you go to, it automatically makes that time the "present" and your memories the past. There isn't any such thing as being able to go into the future. The present is always. True, but if you compare "the present", to "the present, five years from now", then (assuming you're not five years ahead of the game) the present is the only present, and the present in five years will be the future. When you're there, yes, it'll seem like the present, but to yourself five years ago (in the past), it will be the future. It's the same as saying "America is in the West." There can't be A Definite West, because the world is (roughly) spherical (there can, however, be a north and south, by virtue of geomagnetism). It's only relative to Europe that America is westward, and the Orient is eastward.
