JESUS CHRIST!! Spoilers lulz. I swear to God, I want to smack whoever made this s**t up. I am so sick of getting all excited about the show, then having the action actually make itslef known in the LAST 10 MINUTES OF THE SHOW. YOU HAD AN HOUR. USE IT. And then of course, there's always this deep and philosophical s**t, something you won't EVER understand, and, of course - the cliffhanger. And did this 'final' episode have one. So the Petrellis say their "I love yous" (hawt) and shoot up into the sky. They explode. Sylar isn't dead (******** COCKROACH). NY is safe. Cartman or whatever his name is, got 'shot' and might die. So it was bittersweet. Then we get the "end of volume 1" message on the side of a manhole cover. Great. And then of course, the "volume 2" message comes up. Hiro lands into a big grassy fields. Some ancient samurai ride up and start readying their arrows. Some lone horseman comes up. Eclipse happens. And then-! To be continued. WHAT THE ********! They have to stop doing this to me. I'm going to have a heartattck one of these days, because of Heroes. What. AND I SWEAR TO GOD. IF THEY KILLED THE PETRELLIS I AM GOING TO GO ******** BATSHIT CRAZY. Because I mean - they are hot.I also have no idea as to when they're going to start showing this 'volume two' stuff, BUT IT BETTER NOT BE IN SEPTEMBER. I AM NOT WAITING FOR A SHOW TO START DURING THE ENTIRE SUMMER. Can't they just bang it out like Cartoon Network does with Naruto? Not that I watch it.... Hurrhurr. I'm being ******** serious. I don't have cable. So basically that sums it all up. Yes, that was long. I'm sorry. I am very bitter about this. Whoever wrote this stuff needs to stop killing the cool people and start killing the annoying kids. NOW.So... umm... discuss...? Hehe...

The flying pertrelli may have died but no way the power absorbing one did. For one thing it's already been established that whoever blows up doesn't die from their own explosion, and on top of that he absorbed Clair's regeneration ability (And I think they PURPOSEFULLY didn't show the flying brother die, to use as a plot device later. In theory with his speed he could have gotten the exploding brother to a safe distance, then dropped him and flew to his own safety).
I was the one who voted "it's okay" because although it can be cool at times, they do pull alot of BS and over-hype.
Sorry to burst your bubble but no way are they gonna air it any time BEFORE september. In fact they may wait till next January to continue it. Unlike Naruto and DBZ where all they have to do is dub it and show it, they have to actually film more heroes, and although I'm sure they're filming it as we speak they'll need 'til at LEAST september to finish filming, editing, and then come up with the perfect hype lines in preparation for the next season.
Anyway, shows like this never really get resolved. They get infinitely continuable plots until the ratings flop, and then either cancel or come up with a half-assed conclusion. I usually just enjoy the cool moments for what they are and accept that it's probably not gonna go the way I expect. Like when Clair pulled the gun on Exploding guy I wanted to yell at her "You stupid ho! He has you invulnerability! That weapon will do nothing to him!" The only one that can actually stop Invulnerable people is Hero (or whatever the japanese guy's name really is), because he can either time zap him to a million years in the future, or teleport with him into the sun and die with them.
So I forget, did Syler absorb invincibility also or is it just BS that he survived being stabbed in the heart?

Hiro's stabbing Sylar was SO ******** CHEAP. AAAAAAAAGH. SYLAR CANNOT BE DEAD. NO WAY.
Furthermore, why was this episode only ONE hour long? It totally should have been two hours. I wanted to see Sylar v. Peter III. A few super-strength punches and telekinetic strangulation? Lame. We needed a serious Hero-fight.
In regards to the Petrelli brothers, I have only one thing to say: What the hell?! Why didn't Claire just shoot Peter? The math makes no sense:
Peter + Gun = Dead Peter Dead Peter = No bomb Dead Peter + Regenerative powers = Living Peter Living Peter = No self sacrificial Nathan No self sacrificial Nathan = Two not-dead Petrellis Two not-dead Petrellis = biggrin
Peter - gun = Exploding Peter Exploding Peter = Self-Sacrificial Nathan Self-Sacrificial Nathan = crying
Christ, Tim Kring. The knowledge that Peter can heal and Nathan can break the barrier of sound is the only thing that's keeping me hopeful about these two.
In happier news, Molly and Micah are still totally adorable, Niki finally used her power without needing Jessica, Parkman is probably alive, and Mohinder is still inhumanly gorgeous.

Shi_Yatsu So I forget, did Syler absorb invincibility also or is it just BS that he survived being stabbed in the heart? I dunno what it is. If he had Claire's invincibility, she would be dead, so he didn't absorb that. But Sylar did die before and then come back to life in the middle of the season. I don't know what the hell it is with him. He just dies, and then... magically pops back to life. It's annoying. We need a new villan who doesn't have that awful cliche of killing his own mother. All I really really hope is that... my Petrellis didn't die. I mean, you can ONLY kill so many people in the season wrap-up, right? Right!? I'm sorry, you just can't kill/seriously wound that many people in two episodes like that. How are you going to continue the series with only 5-6 living heroes anyway? And on Claire shooting Peter. Isn't she smart enough to realize that he has her powers? He would only be dead for a little while... Honestly...

Sylar's a cockroach. This was alluded to multiple times: 1) Mohinder's lecture in episode one about how roaches can survive a nuclear explosion 2) He later says cockroaches might be god due to their inability to just die 3) When Sylar is looking dead in Godsend, there's a roach crawling past him 4) After Sylar's body mysteriously vanishes, there's a trail of blood leading down into the sewers, as a roach crawls by 5) Going back to number two, there's Sylar's god complex. See, "Gabriel" is the name of the messenger of God, and God is usually seen as having mastery over time due to omnipotent. What does Gabriel Gray run? A watch shop. But, GG doesn't want to be normal. He wants to be special. He doesn't just want to be a MESSENGER of God, he wants to BE God. The powers of many evolved humans, combined with his intuitive aptitude, would make him all-powerful. He'd be special, because he'd be the only one. He would be God. Ironic, then, that Hiro Nakamura, the one who controls Space/Time is the one fated to kill him. As if there couldn't be any more Biblical references in this show. I think he's supposed to come back in Season 2, since Tim Kring said that his story would extend there. Plus, I read that someone is supposed to have memory loss. So far it's looking to be Nathan (He and Peter are confirmed to return next season! 4laugh ), but really, if done right it would be a great way to develop his character. Heck, I can even see it starting in the beginning of episode five or something, opening with Mohinder being in a hospital for some reason... Mohinder: Hello there Mister Gray, I-- eek Gabriel: Oh, hello. Are you my doctor? Mohinder: GWAAAAAHHH! Gabriel: ...Huh? *OPENING LOGO!* Hmmm... that'd be funny. And since Gabriel WOULD get his memories back (This always happens), how would he cope with it? I doubt he'd go all Light Yagami on us ("I was a serial killer who sliced people's head open? ...Neato.") and pick up where he left off. GG isn't the type to do that. He's too adorkable.

OMG the Petrelli's are coming back?! For real? How do you know?
And neat refrences too... I got the cockroach thing, but not that other stuff. I really hope Sylar dies though. His face is really starting to annoy me. I think it's his nose...
And what's the deal with Simone's father...? He was werid. Seeing Peter and all that...

I know because I read spoilers ^_^;;. (There's links on the TWOP Heroes forum.) Adrian Pasdar has confirmed, at least, that Nathan's coming back, though he was really vague: The Pasdar I think that's going to be the journey. I think from what I can tell there is going to be a little bit of story of redemption, having to pay for the sins, not just of the father, yeah pseudo father, and those are the choices that he's aligned himself with. From what I can tell without being too specific, there is going to be - that will be the question, how do you handle who you are without the ability to pick up a phone and get anything you want, if you can't even put money in a phone or you don't have a cell phone. I think you find yourself, you know, sitting on the city streets talking to yourself, perhaps with Christopher Eccleston. Wouldn't that be wonderful? So, think Claude might be coming back. And it's about Goddamn time, too. I missed him. Plus, if Nathan goes all emo, then he can hit him with a stick! >:3 (I miss the stick. "Do something! Fly! Stop time! Paint a pretty picture!) Sylar is too cool to die just yet. Too cool, too important. He has lots of relations with all the characters that can't be resolved just yet, and he's one of the best villains on TV. He's totally self-sufficient: he does his own dirty work, he answers to himself, he has no henchmen, he's sad over his own defeats, and he celebrates his victories (with self-bought ice cream!). I want to know more about him. We already know the reason for his obsession to be special (Crazy Mrs. Gray. My, she was scarier than Sylar), but what about his father? The rest of his family? His relations with Chandra, and Mohinder (Who he seemed to genuinely like). Plus, Molly mentioned someone "worse [than Sylar]". THAT would be kickass if they met: Sylar: Wait, you're more special than me? Yeah right. I have telekinesis, cryokinesis, radioactivity, super-hearing, super-memory, melty powers, precog- Boogeyman: b***h, please. *slams Sylar against a wall multiple times* Sylar: Oh, it is ON. This could possibly lead up to my ultimate fantasy dream battle, Sylar and Peter vs. Boogeyman. That'd be sweeeet. Besides they need to keep him alive for at least these two reasons: 1) If Sylar really did die, than that death was really cheap and lame. The big bad of Season I must get a cooler death. 2) Zach Quinto is just too good of an actor to let go this early (plus, he said he loves working on this show). 3) Zach and Sylar have grown so popular by now that they have little choice but to bring him back. I love Zach. He's so cute and funny (Ever watch the cast commentaries? He and Sendhil are LOVE.) and sweet. I love Sylar. He's hot and badass and evil and has KILLER fashion sense (No pun intended). Myahaha~ As for Charles Deveaux, not even I, the all-knowing Heroes whore, knows. Some say that he could be the one that's worse than Sylar, but he seems to darn nice for it. Plus, he's dead. My money is on a new character. EDIT: Total confirmation about the Petrellis: Fourth from the top.

Soma Mahanon Don't hurt me, but... What is Heroes? Heroes is a show on channel 4 (NBC) that started not too long ago about a handful of people that have superhuman abilities (think X-men). They also show it on Sci-fi channel, and the recurring theme of the first season is "Save the cheerleader, save the world" Which in the end was a LIE! Well, sort of... Without the cheerleader her father wouldn't have changed his mind about fate and the city would have gone boom. On the other hand it's STILL a lie since it doesn't blow up the world, and although the future is dark and evil, it's really only the US that gets affected.

No, it didn't.
If Peter hadn't saved Claire at Texas, that means Sylar would have gotten her regeneration power. Because he did, when Hiro stabbed him, he didn't die and blew up New York. Because he blew up New York, Evolved Humans were hated world over, and, as shown in Five Years Gone, the United States government as well as pretty much every other government in the world was trying to kill them.
But, because Peter saved Claire in Texas thanks to FutureHiro's warning, and now that Hiro has seen the dark future, they have/had a chance of stopping Sylar. Of course, now that he's survived a stabbing and gone into the sewers, who knows?
...God, I'm a nerd.

Well, Molly did say the one person she can't/won't find is worse than Sylar. It actually made me shiver when she talked about him.
Still, Sylar will always be my favorite villain, simply because he's so awesome.
