Yeah, I know it's been nearly a month since Fiction's release, but it's taken me this long to pick it up. xp Just superb, I would expect no less. Damage Done is still my favorite, but there's no such thing as a bad DT album. Hell, there's no such thing as a merely good DT album.

it almost sounds like a continuation of Character (which i loved)... i've only listened to it at my friend's house once, and with a first run through, it wasn't anything to completely rejoice about. don't get me wrong though, it's fantastic. just nothing new to me :
but, you're right xd Damage Done is the best.

It did seem to start out a lot like Character (not necessarily a bad thing, considering how great it was). But Mikael's clean voice appear's on the excellent Misery's Crown and in a duet with singer Nell on The Mundane and the Magic. That last one especially is something new to the band's repertoire. It took me a few play-throughs to get hooked on it, much like with Character. 3nodding

THAT, i can completely agree with. the duet was fantastic. and clean vocals are interesting to hear, for a change! i liked it. and Fiction was curious enough to hear at first, and your further descriptions intruege me... i might go and pick it up after school today!

hahahahaha, quite alright, my friend.
no, unfortunately... as of late, i've been listening to the bands Grand National, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Daedelus, and Autolux! eek i'm a bit of an indie, electronica, and experimental/ambient fanatic.

Wow, I can't really say I'm really into any of that sort of thing. But it takes all kinds, I suppose. *shrugs* And I haven't picked up an album in a while...hmmm....I was thinking of Symphony X's The Divine Wings of Tragedy.
