Tuesday was my last day for this semester. I'm a bit sad because the semesters always seem so short, but I'm so tired now I couldn't take a day of classes today. How's everyone else school-wise?

I'm still busy with school stuff. Yuck. It's sort of the final stretch. Which means that I have all this stuff to finish up! gonk I've got this project in American Literature about Modernism. American Lit is kind of a pain, because everything ahs to be American, so no Shakespeare, no Virginia Wolfe, or anything. Mostly it's all really depressing books written by dead white males. Honestly-- Catcher in the Rye is the only novel we've read in which a character hasn't died during the story. So DEPRESSING! If this was a proper Literature class we could read a Shakespearean comedy or something, but it would appear American literature is all depressing!

What about John Kennedy Toole? Is A Confederacy of Dunces considered classic yet?
The most entertaining thing I ever read for a lit class was Gargantua & Pantagruel. Unexpurgated. eek redface xd lol rofl sweatdrop mrgreen

gonk gonk Well I chose English, Maths B, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and IPT (Information Processsing and Technology) so... well that's pretty self-explanatory. Lots of work!!
I think I might drop Biol in year 12 so I have more time to focus on not failing my other subjects...
xp Wish I had already graduated.

I have until Thursday to finish all my work and hand it in for marking, then a week off followed by another week where I get to make minor edits to my work. After that I shall finally be free!
Well, I say free. Actually I'll probably still have executive committee meetings and focus groups on the redevelopment of the campus to attend until the 6th of July. Then four years of university. Then probably a job...

I thought I was free there, but I have a summer class from 11 June to 3 August, and my full fall semester begins on 27 August. That leaves me about 3 weeks to do any traveling I might want to do (which I doubt I'll do gonk )...
Hope you did okay on your tests, Isi.

My school year is over. Which is why I'm spending so much time online.

I have finished my first year at uni doing Film and TV studies. I haven't got my exam results back yet - so I may have to resit one (I got panicked at the film exam...) - but otherwise I'm relaxing here in Scotland doing none of the creative stuff I should be doing. Woop! Yay for Summer hols and the lazy student life.
That is until I have to go back down to England in a few weeks to go hunt down a flat for next year... *cry*
