I wonder what the protagonist's name should be...Something that sounds like an awesome pen name... James Aevel? Nah, he needs a better first name than James, I think.
And the king needs an imposingly evil name...Though no one would know the king's real name...lol, maybe it should be Satan or Lucifer or something. That'd be interesting. But I don't really want to give it a religious tone, that's not my thing.
I hate having to come up with names...
