nya! hello!

i'm so excited, i have to share! i, myself have been keeping track with this drama for a while, ever since i heard that Gackt is going to be in it. even without him in it (yet!), the show is actually quite interesting. anyways, back to my main news...

it's happening! it's happening! Gackt is going to be on the hit historic J-drama, 「風林火山」 (Furin Kazan)!!!! on June 17... Gackt will finally show his pretty face on TV as warlord, Uesugi Kenshin/Nagao Kagetora. (Gackt without color contacts? Gasp!)

appearently, this show seems to be broadcasted in california and hawaii (i think... i know i get it here in SF, cali.) in the US, the show is @ 10pm (unless otherwise stated for changes) on this channel i get call KQED. i'm sorry i can't be on any other help, due to the fact that i cannot find any other people talking about this show on other forums outside of Gaia... so i do not know if this show is avalible elsewhere in the USA. sorry! cry but please do post if you know! 3nodding very much appreciated if anyone can help share (cuz sharing is good!)

no problem-o for my share of info. one thing i forgot to add about the Date of Air... that is of course in regards to the viewers of Japan. give or take... i say about a few weeks before it gets subbed for the US. cuz i myself stopped at episode 13... or 14... and oversea, the show is at episode 20. so just to let ya'll know. 3nodding

Hopefully it will come to DVD here in the US, if not, I can always e-mail a friend on eBay and see if he can get a copy of it for me and I'll just pay him back the full price.

This makes me wish I lived in Hawaii still. I use to watch The Monkey King series that was on in the 80's. I would hurry home from school and sit in front of the tv and watch it. It was all in Chinese but it had subtitles. That's how I got use to watching subtitled movies. I could watch and read at the same time.
Drove my friends nuts at Passion of the Christ, The Nativity Story, The Curse of the Golden Flower, House of Flying Daggers, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, and Pan's Labyrinth. I had to repeat what they said to my friends as the movie played. Eventually they rented them and watched them dubbed *shudders* Dubbing is evil if it's done poorly. Very rarely have I ever found a good movie that's dubbed. I think the only TWO that have done any justice to the orginal Japanese language was Princess Mononoke and Spirted Away.
