Hello!
I'm from Canada and when I saw thie subforum- I did a dance. But I was sad when there were no topics in it...
So I started one.
Let's discuss House MD in Canada.
In Canada, there are three channels in which we can watch House. Fox Rhochester, Global Quebec and TVA. And TVA is a French channel.
House in French is funny because Chase has no accent and House sounds like an overweight and elderly- sort of man.
Any one lese has seen House in French?

It's funny because the French don't pronouce their H's. So House is pronounced as: Oust.
Yes. Oust. That's how I heard it. It was really funny.

Tsammi-hime It's funny because the French don't pronouce their H's. So House is pronounced as: Oust. Yes. Oust. That's how I heard it. It was really funny. That's true... ><. But it's not strange for us. If the H was pronounced, people would have said Dr House has an awful accent...

True, true.
But Hosue sounds old in the French dub, so does... well everyone else.
Tell me, how many episodeshave you seen in french? I've only seen one, because I'm busy on the nights it plays...

I've only seen that one episode. I would watch more but I get tired {'cause you know... the new episodes on fox every tuesday... but not for much longer...] and I can't seem to stay up to ten for two days in a row... so yeah. I have to go to my busstop by 7:30...

I haven't seen House in French and I do not know any of the channels that you are talking about it could be because you live in a different part of Canada because I remember using Fox 29 (I used to live in Canada).

I might've said the wrong channel. What part of Canada did you live in? I live in Southern Quebec, right next to the American border.

It is really cool though that you live in Quebec, I have been to Quebec before. Knowing about the French that is spoken there I am sure that your french is excellent unlike mine(I have been taking it for about 7 years I moved to Canada when i was older than the age of going into pre-kindergarten in Ontario we just took it as a subject they taught french from pre-kindergarten

My french isn't excellent. I can read, write and listen French, but for some demented reason. I cannot speak it. I tried and tried, and I just can't. When I was a kid and before I stated school, appearently mon francais etait bien ^_^...heh...
Chase doesn't even have an accent when he speaks! Just for kinks they should've given him a English/French accent.
Anyway, tomedaru, how close are you to the border? I'm like really close,at the end of my street are the two duane. I can't remember the word in English but that. And there are like three of them in my town alone.
