Hey! Some of us have a dog named Shelby. I do. I kinda think the name fits. If you ask me it hide's Clark's mystery better.

As a bit of trivia, Shelby is actually a shout-out to one of Superman's dogs in, I think, Superman For All Seasons -- it's also a gender-neutral name. Beats Krypto, especially as Shelby is no long a "super" dog.

UM. I Prefer Shelby only because that was definitely NOT the real Krypto so I would prefer they used Krypto for the real deal not some meteor infested dog. Plus Clark really did have a Dog named Shelby in the comics, so it works out.
